Abstract:The three ways of response strengthening, knowledge acquisition and construction of meaning; the three results of ineffective learning, rote learning and meaningful learning; and the three assumptions of bi-directional channels, limited capacity and active processing, as well as the five kinds of cognitive processes--Mayer gives an overview of multimedia learning cognitive theory for us.
