ESP目的语境下大学英语教师的身份构建

摘    要:分析了高等教育国际化,学生英语水平普遍提高背景下教师身份的特点,以及大学英语课程改革的必要性。指出由于EGP和ESP课程内涵的区别,当前的ESP课程改革容易导致大学英语教师的身份迷失。认为ESP目的语境下,大学英语教师的身份建构可从知识基础加专业实践的教师成长模式和教育叙事模式两方面入手。

Abstract:The internationalization of higher education, the characteristics of identity of teacher in the context of a general increase in English level of students, and the necessity for reform of college English courses are analyzed. Due to the different connotations of EGP and ESP, the current round of ESP-oriented curriculum reform has given rise to college English teachers' identity loss, which may hinder the reform. In this context, it is essential to facilitate their identity construction, which can be built upon the teacher development mode of knowledge base plus teaching practice and educational narrative.
