| 摘 要： | 该文主要论述了严复"雅"在英译中国古典诗歌中的运用.作者以接受美学理论为指导,对严复"雅"的历史局限性及其作为翻译标准的"合理内核"进行了辩证分析.在此基础上作者结合诗歌艺术特征及诗歌翻译的基本要求,对中国古典诗歌英译中的"雅"作出了明确要求.

| Abstract: | The present thesis looks chiefly into Yan Fu's "elegance" in rendering classical Chinese poetry.The authors,guided by reception theory,have viewed Yan Fu's "elegance" dialectically,so as to discover its historical limitations as well as its "rational core" as the translation guideline.Furthermore,grounded upon the above discussions,"elegance" in rendering classical Chinese poetry has been carefully defined according to artistic features of poetry and basic requirements in poetry translation. |
