太极拳与中老年人健康的调查分析

摘    要:文章运用体育测量法和问卷调查法,对随机样本中从事和不从事太极拳锻炼的中老年人从身体形态,身体机能,肌肉力量,柔韧性,灵活性和慢性疾病患病率等方面进行调查研究,了解太极拳与老年人健康的关系。结果显示:太极拳不但能推迟衰老,焕发青春,增强体质,延年益寿,对慢性疾病有预防和治疗作用,为进一步研究太极拳与老年人健康问题奠定基础。

Abstract:Through physical measurement and by questionnaire survey,an investigation has been made in this paper on the relation between practicing Tai Chi and the health of old-aged people by comparing the physical morphological characteristics,physical functions,muscle strength and elasticity,physical flexibility,and prevalence rate of chronic diseases of the people who practice Tai Chi with those of the people who practice other exercises.Research results indicate that practicing Tai Chi helps in postponing aging,improving physical qualities,and in preventing and treating chronic diseases.Research like such lays a foundation for further research on the relation between practicing Tai Chi and the health of the old-aged.
