| Abstract: | The article focuses on making a critical analysis of the challenge issued by "the science of law"of post-modernism to traditional theories of law, as well as of the relationship between post-modernism and Marxism,and also presents some views concerning how to develop what is useful and dicard what is not in studying Western sciences of law and how to have the research of the socialist science of law with distinctive Chinese characteristics flourish and advance at the time when we have embarked on a great journey of constructing a socialist country under rule by law in which managing state affairs in conformity with legal provisions will be realized. |
