| Abstract: | Sniffer（network sniffer） is a powerful tool for analyzing and optimizing the network and network traffic and can also be used as a hacker tool.This paper explains the concept and technical principles of Sniffer and explores its effective applications in network management.Meanwhile,considering its hidden troubles,this study also puts forward some preventive measures. |
