| 摘 要： | 篇章的信息结构表现为篇章中各部分之间的语义关系及其组合方式。篇章中的焦点可通过分析概括性的名词、强调性的连接词及语义关系中蕴涵的重点而获得。了解篇章中的信息结构及焦点,对于把握作者的写作意图,提高阅读的准确性具有积极指导作用。

| Abstract: | This paper aims at the study of focus in information structure.It is based on the review of previous research on focus on sentential level.Phonetically,focus is highlighted by the nuclear stress.Syntactically,focus is indicated by fronting and postponement and special sentence structures.The paper attempts to initiate the study of focus at the discourse level.Focus in discourse is inferred by the reader on the basis of analysis of generalizing nouns and emphatic conjunctions and the semantic relationship mapped in various thought patterns at the discourse level. |
