Abstract:Text orientation in Chinese teaching retains a strong and popular tradition, in which the basic trend of teaching must be determined from three aspects: text categories, language patterns, and teaching methods. Traditional text orientation puts emphasis on text presentation and teaching styles, while text must be orientated from teaching goals and text values of its own for the more effective and scientific teaching strategy.
