Analysis of influence of slope cutting on deformation of retaining pile and internal force |

| Abstract: | Slope cutting is often used in the construction of foundation pit,but its design and construction usually depend on experience.Based on the example of a subway station＇s foundation excavation,this paper discusses the influence of slope cutting on retaining pile＇s deformation and internal force through the study of slope cutting angle and slope cutting depth.The result shows that if taking cutting slope into consideration,obvious decrease can be found in ground surface settlement and retaining pile＇s maximum horizontal displacement,but not in retaining pile＇s internal force;and that it will underrate retaining pile＇s deformation and internal force（by 9.1% in terms of maximum bending moment） if simply equaling slope cutting to reduction of excavation depth,hence a dangerous design.Furthermore,the slope cutting angle has little influence when the depth is within 4m;when the angle is 45°,retaining pile＇s deformation and internal force decrease gradually as the depth increases. |
