| Abstract: | The cultural difference between China and Western countries in the cross-cultural communication results in the communicational failure and conflict.Emphasis has been laid on the cultivation of students' cultural awareness,cultural sensitivity and cross-cultural communicative competence on English language teaching in higher vocational colleges.The author of this paper emphasizes the importance of communicative competence and gives some suggestions on how to improve students' cross-cultural communicative competence. |
