| 摘 要： | 福州是海峡西岸建设的领跑者,良好的对外开放形象无疑对促进城市的发展起着重要作用。公共场所公示语英译文是城市对外宣传的一个重要部分。根据2010年初对福州繁华路段、旅游景点以及新建的公共建筑物的公示语英译文的实地调查,运用丰富翔实的例子对翻译质量的优劣进行点评,运用对比手法,分析具体原因,并提出译者应以"功能目的论"指导公示语的翻译,努力提高翻译质量以改善语言环境。
