摘    要:长期以来,英语教学重语言、疏化、其结果造成不少学生理解上的障碍,本就语言与化的关系,化背景对英语听力理解的影响以及如何利用化传授上好听力课方面进行探讨。

Abstract:In our English language teaching, we have long been paying much attention to the language itself but little to the cultural transmission. As a result many students have difficulty in comprehension both in reading and listening. This paper mainly discusses the relationship between language and culture, the effects of cultural background on sutdents' listening comprehension and the way to give a better class in listening by transmitting culture.
