| 摘 要： | 本文主要采用内容分析法,以斯坦福大学(Stanford University)、密歇根大学(the University of Michigan)、匹兹堡大学(University of Pittsburgh)和佛罗里达州立大学(Florida State University)四所学校为案例,以《教师手册》(Faculty Handbook)的文本为主要研究对象,总结了美国大学对终身教职的最新界定,分析了它们在终身教职的现行政策中所广泛采用的做法,并在此基础上结合文献调研预测了终身教职的发展趋势.
