| 摘 要： | 大学英语采用大班教学模式已成为一种趋势。然而,随着班级规模的不断扩大,传统的大班教学模式的弊端逐渐凸现出来,不利于教师教学活动的开展和学生的知识建构。多媒体辅助英语大班教学,作为一种全新的教学方法,已成为大学英语教学改革的主要突破口,尤其当多媒体辅助教学吸收了建构主义作为其理论指导后,更能有效提高大班教学效果。

| Abstract: | It has been a tendency to have college English courses in large classes.However,with the continuous expansion of class size,the defects of the traditional teaching mode have become increasingly evident and they have been inconducive to both teachers’teaching and students’knowledge construction.Multimediaaid English teaching in large classes,as a brandnew teaching mode,has become a major breakthrough in college English teaching reform,especially when taking constructivism as its theoretical guidance.In a word,college English teaching in large classes will be made more effective by the use of multimedia. |
