| 摘 要： | 资源发现是制约Internet应用和发展的瓶颈，元数据则为这一问题的解决提供了可能，本文从元数据的概念出发，首先介绍了几种常见元数据，然后重点阐述了Dublin Core的内容和特点，并将Dublin Core和其它几种元数据进行了比较，最后指出作为一种网络信息组织和发展的工具，Dublin Core极具发展前景。
