| 摘 要： | 经过百余年的发展，民主建设已经成为社会转型成功的关键，我国图书馆工作现代化已经基本实现。通过图书馆的市民化而发挥图书馆的社会教育职能，从而促进社会民主建设已经成为当前图书馆转型的核心内容。图书馆的市民化有三条途径：加强社区图书馆建设，高校和科研院所图书馆社会化，吸收民间资本投入图书馆事业的建设。
