| Abstract: | This research investigates and analyzes a number of issues in the development of Chinese in-tegrated library systems for a global market. They include the advantages that the Chinese systems are currently enjoying as compared to the similar foreign systems, the developmental trends and service methodologies with regard to integrated library systems in foreign countries such as the United States, the challenges that the Chi-nese integrated library systems developers have to face in pushing their products to the world, and the models for sustained development for the industry of integrated library systems. |
