| In this paper, the current level of medical journal editors in writing journal introduction is analyzed, and then a suggestion that both professional essence and literary taste should be taken into account when writing such introductions is proposed. Then the paper discusses the effects of topic planning, selected manuscripts for publication as well as editors' sense of profession and service on the professional essence of journal introduction, and the effects of editors' literary accomplishment on the literary taste of introduction. Some excellent examples of journal introduction are analyzed to highlight the necessity of our proposal. |
