为了适应新课程改革的需要,必须对现行的教育评价,从开放性、个性化和民主化的角度进行整体改革。突出评价的开放性,使教育评价成为能够适应新课程开放性特点,为新课程开放性服务,并促进新课程开放性进程的工具;加强评价的个性化,加强教育评价对每一个个体发展的关注,承认个体之间的差别和个体发展的多样性和丰富性,使其成为为每个个体发展提供有效帮助的工具;加强评价的民主化,使教育评价有利于教育民主的形成和发展,使其不仅成为一种评定教学、监控教学、指导教学的工具,而且成为一种促进教育民主化进程的工具。  相似文献

Abstract

Since the late 1980s, reform of the Spanish education system has been justified by reformists as a response to the social and economic changes that have occurred in Spanish society since the democratic transition in the 1970s. Consolidation of democracy, development of technology and economic convergence with the advanced nations of Europe have been seen as the major challenges for educational reform. Restructuring and legitimation processes derived from the requirements of the new reform have been conceptualized as a policy of reconversion, the main purpose of which is to maintain, or achieve, a strong competitive position in the international market. In this paper, conceptualizing educational reform as a reconversion process will allow us to link aspects of the new curriculum (content, pedagogy and assessment), school organization, teaching and teacher education in physical education with wider economic, social and cultural influences and explore the tensions and conflicts between policy and practice in PE in schools. The paper will argue that there is a widening gap between the interests of progressive educationalists and the direction of market‐driven education reform.  相似文献

With the implementation of the New Curriculum, conflicts between new and old ideas are bound to arise. Voices supporting and protesting the reform will accompany the whole process. We have to expound our idea that quality education is an established policy that cannot be reverted, that curriculum reform must be carried out, and that any attempt to return to old curriculums may end in failure. This paper explores changes to the educational policy-making arena through case study analysis of a Massachusetts law passed in 2012 that limits seniority-based job protections for public K-12 teachers. I use data from interviews with policy stakeholders, observations of public meetings, and policy artifacts to explore struggles over democratic engagement in what unfolded as a highly undemocratic policy development process. Using the policy cycle framework, I explore the ways that political pressure and political discourses shaped the policy development process through various contexts of political struggle. Ultimately, I argue that the case is indicative of what I am calling ‘neo-democratic’ decision-making, in which high-level interest group conflict leads to narrow forms of democratic engagement.  相似文献

The transition from an authoritarian to a democratic form of government marks a turning point of historic proportions in the annals of any nation. This paper asks the question, during the first decade following such a transition, do the newly democratized nations demonstrate any common patterns of educational reform? In exploring this issue, pre- and post-transition comparisons were made in four Hispanic nations regarding the critical areas of educational finance, curriculum development, student enrollment, and the concentration of power. The author used a conventional field study research methodology to gather data following the transitions in Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela and Spain.  相似文献

As the former socialist countries of Southeastern/Central Europe and the former Soviet Union have embarked on their journeys from authoritarian to democratic societies in the early 1990s, education systems across the region have experienced major changes. From curriculum revision to education finance reforms, virtually no aspect of the education systems has remained untouched. While all post-socialist reform efforts have striven for large-scale, sustainable change, some initiatives were more successful than others, and many reform efforts were short-lived. Focusing on pre-service teacher education reform in Latvia, this article seeks to understand how educational leadership contributes to sustainability of educational reform in the dynamic context of post-socialist education transformation processes.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

China initiated a new round of science curriculum reform in 2017. Using the tripartite curriculum framework (including policy, programmatic, and classroom curriculum), we introduce and analyse China’s policy curriculum and programmatic curriculum for science in primary school and senior high school, and describe the potential problems hindering the translation of these curricula into the classroom curriculum. We first identify the multiple aims of different stakeholders in science education, some of which influence the science policy curriculum. Then, we present the major changes in how the programmatic curriculum meets the policy curriculum. However, due to extracurricular factors, the current science curriculum reform may not unfold as expected. We end with a discussion of the three major characteristics of the revision process of science curriculum standards in China, some of which might inform the global community of science education.  相似文献
