Project-based engineering companies are striving for innovation acceleration, and lean supply and product processes throughout the product lifecycle. The business orientation of engineer-to-order companies is customer-centric due to the nature of engineer-to-order products, which are tailored and customized according to the specific requirements of each customer. However, this customer orientation may lead to inefficient performance, due to a lack of mechanisms to reuse proven concepts, designs and production facilities, as well as an absence of feedback mechanisms from products in use and service. These challenges have been recognized in earlier empirical research projects conducted in companies providing engineer-to-order products. Based on an exploratory study of the existing literature, this paper aims to identify factors hindering product-related information reuse in an engineering business environment that comprises several networks of actors during the lifecycle of engineer-to-order products. The main challenges of information reuse in an engineer-to-order context are related to reuse situations, which require combining existing information with experience-based knowledge. A typology of factors and challenges of information reuse is built, and organizational development needs at different organizational levels as well as further research needs are identified.  相似文献

Public innovation has received increasing attention in recent years. Experiments with new governance structures, such as New Public Management and New Public Governance, have challenged the traditional top-down, internally driven forms of innovation in the public sector and have entailed a search for new forms of open, collaborative and interactive innovation, implying a reframing of public innovation activities. However, introducing these new frames of innovation causes uncertainties in the public sector, necessitating better understanding of how public innovation can be changed to address societal needs. This paper uses materials from case studies of 21 public living labs across Europe to analyse the lessons that can be learned from public sector participation in living labs in terms of their contribution to reframing public innovation. The “frame” construct is used to analyse and provide an understanding of how participation in living labs helps public actors to reframe innovation and address public and societal needs. Three living lab framings for changing public innovation are identified (processual learning, restrained space and democratic engagement), and the degree of intensity of these framings with respect to involving stakeholders and addressing societal challenges is discussed. The paper contributes to knowledge of public sector innovation by extending previous accounts of how public innovation can be improved.  相似文献

This exploratory study investigates value co-destruction in the Business-to-Business (B2B) context and examines the impact of actors’ opportunistic behaviour on value co-creation. The research undertakes an in-depth case study based approach. It uses data triangulation, where multiple sources of evidence (interviews, conference audio recordings and documents) are collected from the case organisation (a vendor) and its service ecosystem partners in the ICT sector. The partners included in the study are distributors, channel partners, competitors, and customers. B2B alliances are driven by the motivations to maximise strategic value and minimise transaction cost. Thus, using the ecosystem lens, we find that actors’ capabilities (resources and perceived value), vendor's approach to achieving strategic benefit and the channel governance mechanism enable value co-creation. However, using the transaction cost theory lens, we report that actors’ opportunistic behaviour, technological disruptions and new business model challenges lead to value co-destruction (in the form of termination of relationship, conflict and business liquidation). Alliance partners need to evaluate the strategic benefits of collaboration, knowledge sharing, learning, trust building, market expansion and technology sharing, considering partners’ self-serving behaviour driven by transaction cost economies. All ecosystem actors are seeking to develop capabilities, exhibit knowledge differentiators, demonstrate technology leadership, reduce uncertainty and respond to new business model challenges thus causing value co-destruction. Thus, this research is more encompassing because it explores factors that lead to both value co-creation and co-destruction.  相似文献

研究在解构转基因技术议题中公众对政府信任的内涵、结构维度的基础上,通过预置模型、问卷调查,结构方程探索了基于政府信任的转基因技术公众态度理性决策路径。研究发现,在信息不对称和信息传播权力"重心"下移的情势下,"信任-感知-态度"的场域成为转基因技术公众态度形成的路径依赖,在转基因技术议题中,公众对政府的契约型信任、合作型信任和制度型信任,能显著作用于以感知利益和感知风险为基础的个体理性决策机制,从而影响转基因技术公众态度。  相似文献

The digital currency has taken the financial markets by storm ever since its inception. Academia and industry are focussing on Artificial intelligence (AI) tools and techniques to study and gain an understanding of how businesses can draw insights from the large-scale data available online. As the market is driven by public opinions, and social media today provides an encouraging platform to share ideas and views; organizations and policy-makers could use the natural language processing (NLP) technology of AI to analyze public sentiments. Recently, a new and moderately unconventional instrument known as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) is emerging as an upcoming business market. Unlike the stock market, no precise quantitative parameters exist for the price determination of NFTs. Instead, NFT markets are driven more by public opinion, expectations, the perception of buyers, and the goodwill of creators. This study evaluates human emotions on the social media platforms Twitter posted by the public relating to NFTs. Additionally, this study conducts secondary market analysis to determine the reasons for the growing acceptance of NFTs through sentiment and emotion analysis. We segregate tweets using Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient (PPMCC) and study 8-scale emotions (Anger, Anticipation, Disgust, Fear, Joy, Sadness, Surprise, and Trust) along with Positive and Negative sentiments. Tweets majorly contained positive sentiment (~ 72%), and positive emotions like anticipation and trust were found to be predominant all over the world. This is the first of its kind financial and emotional analysis of tweets pertaining to NFTs to the best of our understanding.  相似文献

Cellular agriculture and its products, such as cultured meat, are suggested to have the potential to advance the sustainability of current food systems. Instead of engaging in current debates concerning the anticipated benefits and challenges of cellular agriculture, it is more useful to identify potential pathways leading to food system transitions. Our study aims to compare Finnish and German political stakeholders' (n = 25) perceptions concerning cultured meat and to analyse its potential transition pathways utilising the multi-level perspective (MLP). Data were collected via semi-structured theme interviews in early 2020. Results show that the participants acknowledge that landscape-level pressures, such as climate change or finite resources, are challenging current food systems. The food regime's position is perceived as somewhat uncertain. The current practices of livestock agriculture, strong food traditions and multiple interest groups' aspirations are anticipated to both hinder and advance a transition to cellular agriculture. On the niche innovation level, cultured meat was perceived as a promising yet technocratic solution. Cultured meat may be an option for continued meat consumption without feelings of guilt but with preconditions such as guaranteed safety, affordable prices and an authentic meat taste similar or better compared with conventionally produced meat. Our article concludes with three potential transition pathways for cellular agriculture. The “technocratic stagnation” pathway is characterised by perceived threats and stakeholder unwillingness to accept cultured meat. The “promising circumstances” pathway is emphasised by positive societal conditions for cultured meat development and stakeholders' incremental adaptation to it as an additional food product on the market. The “rapid advancement” pathway is characterised by technological breakthroughs and high acceptance of cultured meat, which could lead to radical changes in the current food system.  相似文献

The transmission of online emergency information has become an active means of expressing public opinion and has vitally affected societal emergency response techniques. This paper analyzes interactions between three groups in time and space using a classic SIR (susceptible, infected, and recovered) epidemic model. Through social network theory and analog simulation analysis, we utilize data from China's Sina Weibo (a popular social media platform) to conduct empirical research on 101 major incidents in China that occurred between 2010 and 2017. We divide these emergencies into four types—natural disasters, accidents, public health events, and social security events—and conduct a simulation using three examples from each group. The results show that government control of public opinion is both cheaper and more effective when it occurs at the initial stages of an incident. By cooperating with the government, the media can facilitate emergency management. Finally, if netizens trust the government and the media, they are more likely to make cooperative decisions, maintain interest, and improve the management of online public sentiment.  相似文献

While open innovation provides a new paradigm to sustain a firm’s competitive advantage, opening up to external knowledge also entails substantial risks of appropriation and opportunism. Building on this “open paradox” framework, this study investigates whether societal trust—a key aspect of informal cultural norms—serves as an effective mechanism in improving relational governance among partners, thereby leading to better collaborative outcomes. Using a novel panel data on co-owned patents across 29 countries, we show that firms in high trust countries are able to produce a higher level of joint output (i.e., co-owned patents). This effect is more pronounced when perceived opportunism is higher (i.e., firms in high-tech industries, or in countries with less disclosure transparency), and when formal contracts are less enforceable (i.e., in countries with relatively weak legal systems). We further show that open innovation is the channel through which societal trust promotes innovative efficiency. Overall, our study establishes societal trust as a key factor in influencing the efficiency of open innovation.  相似文献

论文基于一项全国性抽样问卷调查,从主效应和交互效应两个层面,探究信任是否以及如何塑造公众对人工智能技术的风险感知。结果显示:对政府官员和科学家的信任,均显著降低了对人工智能技术的风险感知;信任政府官员的影响力,不仅高于信任科学家,也高于人工智能知识;对科学家能力信任的影响力高于对科学家的道德信任。除了主效应,信任与知识之间还存在相互强化的交互效应,即信任对技术风险感知的影响力随着人工智能知识水平的上升而增强,随着知识水平的下降而减弱。论文进一步讨论了上述研究结果对风险管理与风险传播的政策意义与未来研究方向。  相似文献

The recent policy debates about orientating research, technology and innovation policy towards societal challenges, rather than economic growth objectives only, call for new lines of argumentation to systematically legitimize policy interventions. While the multi-level perspective on long-term transitions has attracted quite some interest over the past years as a framework for dealing with long-term processes of transformative change, but the innovation systems approach is still the dominant perspective for devising innovation policy. Innovation systems approaches stress the importance of improving innovation capabilities of firms and the institutional settings to support them, but they are less suited for dealing with the strategic challenges of transforming systems of innovation, production and consumption, and thus with long-term challenges such as climate change or resource depletion. It is therefore suggested to consider insights from transition studies more prominently in a policy framework that is based on the innovation systems approach and the associated notion of ‘failures’. We propose a comprehensive framework that allows legitimizing and devising policies for transformative change that draws on a combination of market failures, structural system failures and transformational system failures.  相似文献

Knowledge sharing and learning are critically important to the success of knowledge management. In this research, we study the design of incentive rewards to facilitate knowledge transfer utilizing an internal knowledge market within organizations. The internal knowledge market is modelled as a marketplace where knowledge providers can send signals about their knowledge and learners may voluntarily acquire the knowledge based on the signals. Three types of knowledge recipients are differentiated with respect to their signalling threshold functions: knowledge connoisseur, knowledge public, and knowledge dilettante. In addition, a knowledge recipient may be either humble or arrogant, with different propensities for learning characterized by different learning inhibition cost functions. For different knowledge recipients, we study the knowledge providers’ best signalling strategies and the firm's optimal design of reward structures. Knowledge providers will adopt different signalling strategies if they lack the necessary trust that knowledge recipients will accurately report their learning. We analyse how the firm can offer learning rewards and employ IT support to improve the trust so as to increase knowledge transfer. This research provides valuable insights for practitioners to manage an internal knowledge market.  相似文献

Public procurement can be a major source of innovation. The potential benefits of public procurement might be fully exploited through the acquisition not only of appliances which are already available in the market, but also of new appliances which are tailored to the specific needs of the local community and might be exported as well to the international markets. In this way, public procurement might allow to improve the services delivered to the local community and to increase the technological competitiveness of the local industrial and research system. In this context, regional foresight might help identify both long-term societal needs and the patterns of evolution of emerging technologies that can match these needs. The purpose of this paper is to illustrate, trough the recent experience of the regional government of Lombardy, the role of foresight for enhancing public procurement and innovation policy at the regional level.  相似文献

科学数据的开放共享推动了学术界对于其公共学术价值的认识和利用,大数据、科研基础设施和科研环境信息化使得科学研究向第四研究范式转型,科学数据复用为新的科学发现和知识创新提供了有效途径。科学数据复用研究受到学术界的关注,相关研究成果在近20年来日益丰富,但该学科领域的知识体系尚未建立。本研究以Web of Science核心合集数据库作为数据采集来源,运用HistCite和CiteSpace软件绘制知识图谱并结合文本内容分析,梳理了科学数据复用研究的发展态势、演进过程及研究结构,研究发现:科学数据复用研究经历了萌芽阶段(2006年前)、发展阶段(2007—2014年)和爆发阶段(2015年至今),主要包括基本内涵、共享与复用关系、数据复用影响因素、学科领域研究以及数据复用伦理等五个方面的研究主题。基于此,本研究从保障平台、理论基础、研究分支和方法工具四个层面构建科学数据复用研究的知识体系,并提出科学数据公共学术价值、科学数据复用行为及机制、科学数据复用评价及影响力、科学数据复用政策和领域科学数据复用研究等几个亟须深入开展的研究主题。本研究为今后开展科学数据复用的相关研究提供理论和实践指导。 〖HT5”H〗  相似文献

UK scientific advice on the possible health risks of mobile phones has embraced (or seems to be embracing) broader engagement with interested non-experts. This paper explains the context of lost credibility that made such a development necessary, and the implications of greater engagement for the construction (and expert control) of "public concern." I narrate how scientific advice matured from an approach based on compliance with guidelines to a style of "public science" in which issues such as trust and democracy were intertwined with scientific risk assessment. This paper develops existing conceptions of the "public understanding of science" with an explanation based around the co-production of scientific and social order. Using a narrative drawn from a series of in-depth interviews with scientists and policymakers, I explain how expert reformulation of the state of scientific uncertainty within a public controversy reveals constructions of "The Public," and the desired extent of their engagement. Constructions of the public changed at the same time as a construction of uncertainty as solely an expert concern was molded into a state of politically workable public uncertainty. This paper demonstrates how publics can be constructed as instruments of credible policymaking, and suggests the potential for public alienation if nonexperts feel they have not been fairly represented.  相似文献

[目的/意义]随着MOOCs迅猛发展和普及,如何利用智能推荐技术为学习者从海量的MOOC中"寻找最佳课程"成为MOOC发展中需要解决的重要课题。[方法/过程]基于自我知觉理论和学习行为投入框架,充分利用学习行为日志和评分数据挖掘学习者之间的隐式信任关系,并通过信任传播建立MOOC社区信任网络,从而构建动态结合兴趣和隐式信任感知的混合推荐方法。为解决数据稀疏问题,提出基于信任的联合概率矩阵分解模型(TA-PMF),将课程评分矩阵、信任关系矩阵的分解相结合来挖掘用户及课程潜在特征,进而实现评分预测。[结果/结论]真实数据集测试结果表明,与显性评分值相比,学习行为投入信息对信任度构建贡献权重达到0.7;TA-PMF方法对MOOC推荐具有较好的适用性,且能在一定程度上缓解冷启动问题。  相似文献

[目的/意义]科技管理数据服务需要准确定位并找准需求,分析并明确不同用户需求是提供有效服务的前提。[方法/过程]确定政府决策部门、企业创新主体和科研用户是科技管理数据服务的主要服务对象,阐释科技管理数据服务内涵并设计四层服务逻辑框架,结合不同服务主体情境下的服务需求,分别设计各用户的服务流程。[结果/结论]指出政府决策需求主要体现在动态监测、态势分析及前瞻预测需求,其服务重点在于政府、专家和公众共谋的集体决策模式;企业创新主体需求主要体现在技术创新支持、市场信息研判、政策解读预判及竞争对手分析需求,其服务要着重外部环境感知、技术追踪及创新决策支持的用户解决方案;科研用户需求主要表现为知识资源需求及服务体验创新需求,对其展开有效服务要注重情境敏感的一站式服务模式。  相似文献
