随着Web2.0的迅猛发展和广泛运用,虚拟社会越来越呈现出小世界网络的特性,英国伦敦骚乱以及刚刚爆发的俄罗斯游行事件,煽动者均借助社交网站进行舆论散播.网络舆论愈发成为影响国家利益、事关国家安全的重要因素,若不对网络舆论给予及时关注和正确引导将对经济和社会造成不可估量的影响和损失.因此,如何进行网络舆论引导是新时期对完善和创新社会管理中创新管理理念、方法和手段提出的新挑战.本文的网络舆论引导研究试图回答两个问题:(1)是否需要引导?(2)如何加以引导?为此,首先提出网络舆论事件是否需要引导的3种研判方法,若加以引导,则进一步利用社会网络分析方法对舆论领袖及潜在关键人物进行探测和挖掘,给出引导策略,为创新社会管理中的网络舆论引导提供科学和定量的研究基础.  相似文献

During the course of the Egyptian civil movement in 2011, excessive suppression of the protesters caused a great deal of humanitarian concerns across the world. Egyptian protesters were supported not only in the Arabic-speaking world, but also throughout the English speaking world. The Twittersphere1 became a valuable arena for individuals to communicate amongst each other regarding important social movement issues. This paper is a study of the communication on Twitterverse consisting of both English and Arabic tweets and the sentiments expressed therein during the Egyptian protest movement. We focus on the research questions: what sentiments of Tweeters relate to signals of protest communication?, and how do protest related tweets in two languages in the Twitter sphere, that are a proxy of two different and important cultural groups, compare with each other? In order to understand the protest communications in Twittersphere, we examine a dual pathways model that relates to emotional and goal related sentiments. We apply this model to examine the online protest in Egypt. Our findings reveal the emotions and goal related sentiments that are fundamental for intention to protest across the two languages. We find that anger, fear, pride and hope were the prime sentiments regarding intention to or support of protest, regardless of language.  相似文献

This study focuses on SME networks of design and high-tech companies in Southeast Netherlands. By highlighting the personal networks of members across design and high-tech industries, the study attempts to identify the main brokers in this dynamic environment. In addition, we investigate whether specific characteristics are associated with these brokers. The main contribution of the paper lies in the fact that, in contrast to most other work, it is of a quantitative nature and focuses on brokers identified in an actual network. Studying the phenomenon of brokerage provides us with clear insights into the concept of brokerage regarding SME networks in different fields. In particular we highlight how third parties contribute to the transfer and development of knowledge. Empirical results show, among others, that the most influential brokers are found in the non-profit and science sector and have a long track record in their branch.  相似文献

Some argue that the “co-creative labors” of “prosumers,” who often work for free on social media sites, represent new types of exploitation insofar that they provide novel ways for capitalists to accumulate surplus value. For others, however, prosumers illustrate how capitalism is now dominated by commercial and noncommercial informational networks that build brand value in innovative ways, especially through “immaterial” relations of communication and information. This article argues that each perspective has limitations. By working from an alternative Marxist perspective the article outlines some of these limitations and then argues that co-creative labor and prosumers are best explored as representing unproductive labor that helps transfer, but not produce, already generated surplus value from the productive to unproductive spheres of the global economy. Through their free labor, prosumers thus have the potential to cut costs for new media companies in the unproductive sphere of the economy. The article further suggests that the “unproductive” actions of prosumers are compatible with a financialized form of knowledge capitalism.  相似文献

As a result of the rapid evolution of computer culture, social media and networking websites now provide the primary socialisation platforms for individuals across the world. With characteristics such as transcending time, space, and even cultures, these platforms impact individuals through increased interactions. Although past research shows how social media impacts on individuals’ cultural affiliations and identity construction processes, research neglects to understand the role and impact of the characteristics of social media and networking environments as individuals engage in these virtual spaces. This paper uses Instagram as a case study, to demonstrate the liminal nature of social media spaces and looks at how this virtual space and its characteristics evoke a sense of reflexivity with regards to identity construction amongst young British Sikhs in the U.K. We highlight how the empowering characteristics of this virtual space impact their identity and just how the communities that are formed by individuals through Instagram, act as a further acculturative agent, as they attempt to deal with the tensions that they experience as a result of being both British and Sikh. Findings implicate how brands can engage with and support the individuals going through this reflective identity re/construction process.  相似文献

Many studies have examined the relationship between social network sites (SNSs) and the development of social capital. However, most studies to date have only considered college and adult populations. This study examines the patterns of SNS use in an urban, teenage sample in the United States. It tests the hypothesis that use of SNSs is related to higher levels of social capital. The results show that youth who use Facebook and Myspace report higher social capital in both their school and online relationships. In addition, the analysis suggests that distinct modes of SNS experiences are differentially related to bridging and bonding social capital. Time spent in SNSs is related to bridging capital, while positive or negative experiences are related to bonding capital. The study offers new insights into how youth experience SNSs and the relationship of that experience with their connection to the world.  相似文献

While the debate rages on the role of social media technologies in the initial days of the Egyptian revolution of 2011, a more relevant research question today is the role of social media within an increasingly contested and turbulent political sphere. This article identifies three key modes by which social media is being exploited to impact political power, and uncovers the salience of each of these through 2 years of multisited ethnographies and interviews. First, I argue that political actors across the political spectrum, from liberals to Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan), are using technologies to build wider ranging, heterogeneous, and diverse networks of supporters, expanding their base from a more historically homogeneous core support group. Second, I argue that actors are working to build bridges between older and newer media platforms, recognizing that each platform is increasingly being shaped by the other. Finally, I describe some of the ways that technology is being used by activists to subvert their competition, promoting campaigns of misinformation and hacking at the expense of others.  相似文献

This study employs digital methods in conjunction with traditional content and discourse analyses to explore how the US President Donald Trump conducts diplomacy on Twitter and how, if at all, diplomatic entities around the world engage in diplomatic exchanges with him. The results confirm speculations that Trump’s diplomatic communication on Twitter disrupts traditional codes of diplomatic language but show little evidence that new codes of diplomatic interactions on social media are being constructed, given that other diplomatic entities around the world mostly remain within the confines of traditional notions of diplomacy in (not) communicating with Trump on Twitter.  相似文献

This essay uses an approach borrowed from environmental history to investigate the interaction of science and nature in a late twentieth-century controversy. This debate, over the proper response to fire ants that had been imported into the American South accidentally and then spread across the region, pitted Rachel Carson and loosely federated groups of conservationists, scientists, and citizens against the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The analysis falls into three sections: an examination of the natural history of the ants; an examination of the views of the competing factions; and an examination of how those views, transformed into action, affected the natural world. Both sides saw the ants in terms of a constellation of beliefs about the relationship between nature, science, and democracy. As various ideas were put into play, they interacted with the natural history of the insects in unexpected ways--and with consequences for the cultural authority of the antagonists. Combining insights from the history of science and environmental history helps explain how scientists gain and lose cultural authority and, more fundamentally, allows for an examination of how nature can be integrated into the history of science.  相似文献

Networks in which each node is directly linked to its nearest neighbors exhibit high reliability and message handling capability. The construction of such networks guaranteeing minimal length, for a given degree of redundancy, is formulated in zero-one integer linear programming terms. Initial feasible solutions to the programs are presented, but connectedness is not guaranteed. In the latter case further zero-one integer programs are proposed assuring connectedness, with given initial feasible solutions. The inefficiency of zero-one programs for large networks leads to consideration of alternate redundant connected networks, without guaranteed minimal length. These networks are based on “nearest- neighbor edge sets”, and are simple to construct. Various theorems on the properties of such networks are presented with applications to one-way communicability.  相似文献

[目的/意义]随着互联网的高速发展,社交网络从无到有,在全球迅速发展起来,人们开始更多的依赖从SNS中获得在线社会支持。与传统社会支持相比,在线渠道尤其是SNS对于人们给予和接受社会支持变得越来越重要。因此,对这一领域的中外文献进行整体分析,帮助研究人员了解这方面研究的发展现状和趋势是有必要的。[方法/过程]通过对2018年前社交网络环境下在线社会支持的中英文研究的期刊文献进行收集并对文献进行内容分析。通过对205篇中外研究文献进行多维编码分析,总结了目前的研究现状并探讨了未来研究的可能方向。[结果/结论]文章总结了SNS环境下在线社会支持的研究重点以及研究方法等研究现状,探讨了该领域在研究对象、研究方法、社会网络的结构与作用等方面的未来潜在研究方向和途径,并分析了中外研究者在研究方法等方面的差异。  相似文献

传统的战略研究把企业看成一个自治的实体,通过建立核心能力或市场定位来获得租金,实现持续的竞争优势,忽略了企业战略网络及其社会关系对企业行为和绩效的影响。本文在论述了战略网络的涵义及其特征的基础上,从社会关系和网络观的角度,分析了战略网络对企业行为和绩效的影响,证明一个企业的租金部分来源于其拥有的核心能力的贡献,也有部分产生于其自身的战略网络及其社会关系。因此,整合战略网络思想于企业战略研究之中是一种必然趋势。  相似文献

知识型企业核心员工离职时携带关键知识在组织间的同向迁移日益受到关注。基于社会资本视角对员工离职引发的知识由新雇主向原雇主反向迁移现象进行研究,是对目前关于核心员工离职引发关键知识迁移研究富有新意的拓展。认为作为社会资源载体的员工离职时,其社会网络嵌入方式发生变化,进而带来组织间联结的变化,并可能促使新,老雇主间结构洞的跨越及两者间关系网络的强化。对于员工离职引发的知识反向流动机制进行了初步分析,以期为企业优化核心员工离职过程中的知识管理机制,挖掘员工流动过程中的积极效应提供借鉴。  相似文献

Research typically focuses on one medium. But in today's digital media environment, people use and are influenced by their experience with multiple systems. Building on media ecology research, we introduce the notion of integrated media effects. We draw on resource dependence and homophily theories to analyze the mechanisms that connect media systems. To test the integrated media effects, we examine the relationships between news media visibility and social media visibility and hyperlinking patterns among 410 nongovernmental organization (NGO) websites in China. NGOs with greater news media visibility and more social media followers receive significantly more hyperlinks. Further, NGOs with a similar number of social media followers prefer to hyperlink to each other. The results suggest that both news media and social media systems are related to the configuration of hyperlink networks, providing support for the integrated media effects described. Implications for the study of hyperlink networks, online behaviors of organizations, and public relations are drawn from the results.  相似文献

Company social networks have become an important means for the socialized marketing of a company, forming a new challenge to companies on how to attract customers. Based on such theories as customer engagement, value co-creation, and relationship marketing, this paper presents a model of the influence of customer engagement on stickiness. Data collected from 260 valid questionnaires from Sina’s enterprise microblog users were analyzed by structural equation modeling. Empirical results show that customer engagement has a direct and positive influence on customer stickiness as well as an indirect influence through customer value creation. This study enriches previous researches on existing theories of customer engagement, value co-creation, and stickiness, and gives practical guidance for companies to encourage customer engagement and enhance the stickiness of company social networks.  相似文献

Speculation about the meaning of the Net (the Internet and potentially associated networks) and its most rapidly developing dimension, the Web (the World Wide Web), are both symptoms and components of a broader reshaping of world politics, economy, and culture. These changes challenge many of the categories within which we have grown used to thinking about the shape and meaning of society and its future. For individuals and local communities, the promises, hopes, and fears associated with the growth of the Web have particular poignancy as they face the challenge of establishing and asserting their identity in a ever more complicated and interdependent world and, through that, finding a strategy for achieving the sort of future they would like to live. The Net and the Web are technologies that promise us access to the world, but they and their associated social and economic trends challenge many of the premises upon which our identity is forged. The Net facilitates the development of new forms of transnational community organization, opening up the promise of more effective ways of acting as citizens across the broader social terrains in which it must be expressed. This article reconsiders the traditional theoretical tools that we have available to understand these issues. It addresses some of the central difficulties and possibilities available to us in rethinking identity, exploring the new promising cultural potential of the Web and Net in a more integrated and simultaneously fragmenting world.  相似文献
