本文借助于作者共被引分析的多元统计分析方法,对SSCI引文数据库中有关知识管理的论文进行分析,试图通过绘制知识地图来揭示知识管理学科的知识结构和划分知识管理流派。通过分析,将知识管理划分为战略流派、过程流派、组织变革流派、应用流派和系统模型流派,并分析了流派的发展趋势。  相似文献

指出当前我国知识管理理论流派研究具有十分重要的现实意义,并简单回顾了知识管理主要流派发展概况。为了更好地指导实践活动,尝试性地将知识管理学术流派划为四个主要学派,进而对四大学派进行了理论探讨和分类研究。文章认为,由于知识管理本身即是战略管理其中的一项具体内容,因此从战略管理的认识论基础上来重新审视知识管理,必将为知识管理更深入的理论研究和有效指导具体的实践活动拓展新天地,开辟新方向。  相似文献

This paper reports on an approach to the analysis of form (layout and formatting) during genre recognition recorded using eye tracking. The researchers focused on eight different types of e-mail, such as calls for papers, newsletters and spam, which were chosen to represent different genres. The study involved the collection of oculographic behavior data based on the scanpath duration and scanpath length based metric, to highlight the ways in which people view the features of genres. We found that genre analysis based on purpose and form (layout features, etc.) was an effective means of identifying the characteristics of these e-mails.  相似文献

This introductory paper covers not only the research content of the articles in this special issue of IP&M but attempts to characterize the state-of-the-art in the Cross-Language Information Retrieval (CLIR) domain. We present our view of some major directions for CLIR research in the future. In particular, we find that insufficient attention has been given to the Web as a resource for multilingual research, and to languages which are spoken by hundreds of millions of people in the world but have been mainly neglected by the CLIR research community. In addition, we find that most CLIR evaluation has focussed narrowly on the news genre to the exclusion of other important genres such as scientific and technical literature. The paper concludes by describing an ambitious 5-year research plan proposed by James Mayfield and Paul McNamee.  相似文献

以信息行为领域的114篇国内博硕论文和124篇国外博硕论文为样本,从基本情况(学位层次、发表时间、所属机构、学科分布)、信息行为的主体和客体、信息行为的类型、高频关键词、研究方法、研究深度6个方面进行国内外比较研究。结果发现,国内外共同点主要有3点:信息行为主体、客体的广泛性和多样化;相对于其它类型的信息行为而言,信息搜寻行为研究占主导地位;总频次位于前3位的研究方法是调查法、统计分析法和访谈法。国内外主要不同之处在于学位层次、学科分布、信息行为的主体和客体类型、研究深度方面存在差异。最后,对国内未来有志于从事信息行为研究的博硕士研究生提出5条研究建议。  相似文献

This paper critically contrasts the three main schools of thought on knowledge – namely, those that respectively conceptualize knowledge as situated in mind, process, and object – and assesses the resulting implications for knowledge management (KM). Against the background of the existing diversity of definitions of KM an integrated and holistic view of the KM value chain is put forward. Within this theoretical framework five main research streams (culture, knowledge location, awareness, evaluation, and absorption) are identified with a view to devising a practical concept of KM applicable in a business context. With a focus on knowledge flow and detailed approaches to potential solutions, conflicts and compatibilities between existing business strategies and KM are examined. A conceptual model is devised to offer a holistic integration of the theoretical and practical themes in order to serve as a framework for developing a future research agenda for the development of theoretically grounded, yet practical, KM business tools and applications.  相似文献

Knowledge management (KM) is crucial for organizations to enhance competitive advantage. While the issues of KM have been widely discussed by numerous researchers, there is a paucity of studies pertaining to KM adoption and practice for the life insurance industry. Therefore, this paper aims to investigate the main factors affecting the life insurance business in adopting and applying KM. An exploratory field study utilizing an inductive methodology involving a multiple-case study approach was undertaken by conducting interviews with 10 key knowledge workers from life insurance enterprises in various stages of KM development and use. We utilized content analysis techniques to identify the factors with their associated variables and further developed a research model. This study offers a comprehensive model for future KM research and provides managerial implications for organizations, particularly life insurance enterprises, to better realize the worth of KM and the possible impediments involved in the processes of adopting and implementing KM.  相似文献

The World Wide Web is growing quickly and being applied to many new types of communications. As a basis for studying organizational communications, Yates and Orlikowski (1992; Orlikowski & Yates, 1994) proposed using genres. They defined genres as "typified communicative actions characterized by similar substance and form and taken in response to recurrent situations" (Yates & Orlikowski, 1992, p.299). They further suggested that communications in a new media would show both reproduction and adaptation of existing communicative genres as well as the emergence of new genres. We studied these phenomena on the World Wide Web by examining 1000 randomly selected Web pages and categorizing the type of genre represented. Although many pages recreated genres familiar from traditional media, we also saw examples of genres being adapted to take advantage of the linking and interactivity of the new medium and novel genres emerging to fit the unique communicative needs of the audience. We suggest that Web-site designers consider the genres that are appropriate for their situation and attempt to reproduce or adapt familiar genres.  相似文献

Webpages are mainly distinguished by their topic (e.g., politics, sports etc.) and genre (e.g., blogs, homepages, e-shops, etc.). Automatic detection of webpage genre could considerably enhance the ability of modern search engines to focus on the requirements of the user’s information need. In this paper, we present an approach to webpage genre detection based on a fully-automated extraction of the feature set that represents the style of webpages. The features we propose (character n-grams of variable length and HTML tags) are language-independent and easily-extracted while they can be adapted to the properties of the still evolving web genres and the noisy environment of the web. Experiments based on two publicly-available corpora show that the performance of the proposed approach is superior in comparison to previously reported results. It is also shown that character n-grams are better features than words when the dimensionality increases while the binary representation is more effective than the term-frequency representation for both feature types. Moreover, we perform a series of cross-check experiments (e.g., training using a genre palette and testing using a different genre palette as well as using the features extracted from one corpus to discriminate the genres of the other corpus) to illustrate the robustness of our approach and its ability to capture the general stylistic properties of genre categories even when the feature set is not optimized for the given corpus.  相似文献

This study investigates how resource genres affect the specificity or level of abstraction of user-generated tags. This study found significant variations in frequency of assignment of superordinate, subordinate and basic level terms representing news, blog and ecommerce resource genres. Study observed users’ preferences to represent news and blog resources with basic or subordinate level tags and ecommerce resources with superordinate and basic level of tags. Study also observed multifaceted representation of resource genres, suggesting that use of genre tags is “situated” and grounded in language. This study suggests that representation of knowledge based on resource genres and levels of abstraction of user-generated tags may improve representation, organization, and findability of the resources in the distributed knowledge environments.  相似文献
