利用语料库、释义词典、用户检索日志作为识别相关词的语境,设计并实现相关词自动提取系统。实验结果表明,虽然面向相同的基本词汇集合,但是基于不同语境提取的相关词之间的重复率很低,各个结果间的互补性很强,说明结果整合非常有必要。在本系统中,通过直接整合途径构建最后的相关词词表。  相似文献

利用查询术语同义词关系扩展信念网络检索模型   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
信念网络模型是一种重要的、基于贝叶斯网络的信息检索模型.它定义了一个明确的样本空间,给出了信息检索的一个灵活有效的基本框架.本文针对传统信念网络模型没有利用术语之间关系的缺陷,利用信息检索用同义词和词语相似度等概念,提出了最优同义词、相似概念、概念相似度等定义,提出了一种概念相似度的计算方法.然后利用上述定义对传统信念网络模型进行扩展,提出了一种基于查询术语同义词关系的扩展信念网络检索模型,讨论了扩展模型的拓扑结构和利用扩展模型进行信息检索的具体方法.实验结果表明,扩展后的信念网络模型比传统模型具有更好的检索性能.  相似文献

The need is considered to integrate the concept of information in the course of the development of a new info(rmo)logical and documentological paradigm through the concept of an intellectual product that is realized by the use of sign systems. Although the definition of a document has been the subject of a vast number of works, analysis of the latest publications shows that the question remains controversial. In this article the two definitions of “document” accepted as the broadest ones, i.e., the principal and conventional ones, are taken for examination. The principal definition of a document starts from the document as a part in the social information-communication process, therefore, having its place in it and performing a function that is major, and obligatory for the document. The conventional definition limits the scope of this concept, mostly in terms of material and characters, with allowance for specific features in the operation of documental communication systems.  相似文献

This article traces the historical progression of Information Literacy (IL) definitions from 2000 to 2015 in the published literature on first-year seminar and freshman general education IL instruction in the U.S. This period roughly corresponds to the influence of the ACRL's Information Literacy Competency Standards for Higher Education (Standards) on the work of LIS professionals and scholars in IL and information literacy instruction (ILI), prior to the adoption in January 2016 of the Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education (Framework). Following a brief look at the background of IL in Library and Information Science (LIS), the chronological development of IL definitions is examined using the three major categories of IL definitions based on Addison and Meyers' (2013) framework of IL definitions, and concludes with a discussion of limitations of Addison and Meyers' (2013) framework of IL definitions. The information presented here offers one perspective of viewing the development and history of IL in U.S. higher education.  相似文献

This article argues that the concept of engagement as it is used in the academic library literature requires greater structure and depth if the librarian community intends to appropriate and advance the usage of a phrase that resonates loudly across higher education. In reviewing the literature around engagement as well as in introducing critical perspectives from outside the library literature, this literature review and investigation demonstrates that engagement is a variously defined and used term that is both difficult to nail down but is essential to the healthy participation of an academic library in its respective community. The external perspectives introduced stem from the behavioral, psychological, and conceptual organizational approach to student engagement, whose application to academic libraries could be strengthened with a more critical grounding in the compelling terms and discourses of engagement as they are understood by those outside libraries. The framework of intellectual capital is introduced as a productive way of capturing the differing definitions and usages of the terms ‘student engagement’ and ‘engagement’.  相似文献

This paper is based on Helen Kiely’s Masters dissertation on MA in Library and Information Service Management, successfully completed at the University of Sheffield in 2018. The aim of the study was to explore the extent to which users of a health care library service understood common terminology used by clinical librarians/information professionals. A survey was developed based on the terminology used for common services and was distributed to staff and students at an acute NHS Foundation Trust. One hundred and eight people participated over a four week period and were asked to provide definitions to the terms. Analysis of the responses for accuracy and common themes indicates that jargon can be a barrier to user access and recommendations are made with respect to the need for outreach to users and the language used in this practice for creating better accessibility.
