Unpredictable packet loss that occurs in the channel connecting a local sensor and a remote estimator will deteriorate the performance of state estimation. To relieve this detrimental impact, an online linear temporal coding scheme is studied in this paper. If the packet of the last step is lost, a linear combination of the current and the last measurements with proper weights is transmitted; otherwise, only the current data is sent. By virtue of the innovation sequence approach, a linear minimum mean-squared error estimation algorithm is designed. To optimize performance, a novel estimator is also proposed which provides a recursive expression of the error covariances. The proposed two algorithms are proved to be equivalent via a set of transformations. With the aid of some optimization techniques, a recursive algorithm is presented to obtain the optimal coding weight in terms of minimizing the average estimation error covariance. 相似文献

A solution is provided in this paper for the adaptive approximate consensus problem of nonlinear multi-agent systems with unknown and non-identical control directions assuming an underlying graph topology having a spanning tree. This is achieved with the introduction of a novel variable transformation called PI consensus error transformation. The new variables include the position error of each agent from some reference trajectory chosen by him, which represents the agent’s selection for the desired swarm trajectory, along with an integral term of the weighted total displacement of the agent’s position from all neighbor positions. It is proven that if these new variables are bounded and regulated to zero, then asymptotic approximate consensus among all agents is ensured. Using classical Nussbaum gain based techniques, distributed controllers are designed to regulate the PI consensus error variables to zero and ultimately solve the approximate agreement problem. The proposed approach also allows for a specific calculation of the final consensus trajectory based on the controller parameter selection and the associated graph topology. It is shown that all agent positions converge towards a neighborhood of the weighted average of all agents reference trajectories. Simulation results verify our theoretical derivations. 相似文献

Chemical biology has been attracting a lot of attention because of the key roles of chemical methods and techniques in helping to decipher and manipulate biological systems. Although chemical biology encompasses a broad field, this review will focus on chemical biology aimed at using exogenous chemical probes to interrogate, modify and manipulate biological processes, at the cellular and organismal levels, in a highly controlled and dynamic manner. In this area, many advances have been achieved for cancer biology and therapeutics, from target identification and validation based on active anticancer compounds (forward approaches) to discoveries of anticancer molecules based on some important targets including protein-protein interaction (reverse approaches). Herein we attempt to summarize some recent progresses mainly from China through applying chemical biology approaches to explore molecular mechanisms of carcinogenesis. Additionally, we also outline several new strategies for chemistry to probe cellular activities such as proximity-dependent labeling methods for identifying protein-protein interactions, genetically encoded sensors, and light activating or repressing gene expression system. 相似文献

Colorectal cancer is one of the most common malignancies and is the second leading cause of cancer death worldwide. Generally, there are three categories of colorectal cancer development mechanism—genetic, epigenetic and aberrant immunological signaling pathways—all of which may be initiated by an imbalanced gut microbiota. Epigenetic modifications enable host cells to change gene expression without modifying the gene sequence. The microbiota can interact with the host genome dynamically through the interface presented by epigenetic modifications. In particular, bacterially derived short-chain fatty acids have been identified as one clear link in the interaction of the microbiota with host epigenetic pathways. This review discusses recent findings relating to the cross talk between the microbiota and epigenetic modifications in colorectal cancer. 相似文献
