This paper examines the changing status of women faculty through an analysis of statistics on China’s universities from 1994 to 2004. This paper first presents the trend of a drastic increase in women faculty members in recent years. Further details on the academic ranks of women faculty, their age and highest degrees obtained are also presented. A comparison of female representation in faculty ranks is made between China and a few selected countries. Lastly, this paper attempts to account for the low percentage of female professors in higher education. 通过对1990～2012年北部湾经济区土地利用结构的变化分析,运用土地利用程度指数模型以及土地利用程度变化模型统计了各地区土地利用程度的时空变化特征及其区域差异。结果表明,1990～2012年北部湾经济区土地利用程度大幅度提升,增加了43.22个百分点,但土地利用程度分布格局并未发生太大变化;土地利用程度变化量及其变化率均大于0,土地利用处于发展期;在自然条件的限制下,区域内部土地利用程度差异较大。  相似文献

Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) has emerged as the most applicable and important tumor marker for carcinoma prostate. In the present study PSA was determined in serum of healthy subjects, patients of benign prostate hypertrophy (BPH) and Carcinoma Prostate (Ca−P) to evaluate its diagnostic efficiency in day to day management of prostate cancer patients and in differentiating patients of early prostate cancer from those with BPH. Receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) revealed 2 ng/ml and 10 ng/ml cut off serum PSA level for BPH and untreated carcinoma prostate patients (Ca−P). An extremely significant increase (P<0.0001) was observed in mean PSA concentration in BPH patients and adenocarcinoma prostate patients when compared to healthy males. Clinical relevance of PSA was highlighted by a case study of cancer patient prior to any therapy till death.  相似文献

构建“人才集聚-人才资本-经济增长”(T-C-E)的人才经济价值转化链，测算人才集聚对区域经济增长的贡献。首先计算1990-2014年我国大陆31个省（市、自治区）的平均人才集聚度和人才资本水平；然后基于扩展的柯布-道格拉斯函数计算各地区人才资本对经济增长的贡献率，并采用聚类算法构建“人才集聚度-人才资本贡献率”矩阵进行分析。结果表明：我国省际区域的人才集聚水平存在较大差异，北京市人才集聚水平最高，其平均集聚度达到22.31%，青海省人才集聚度最低，其平均人才集聚度仅为0.51%；人才集聚水平不同，其区域的人才资本对经济增长的贡献存在显著差异，其中，北京等九个区域的人才资本贡献率超过35%，宁夏等八个区域的人才资本贡献率低于10%；总体而言，人才集聚水平较高的区域，其对经济增长的贡献也较高，但两者之间并不具有严格的正向关系。  相似文献
