采用随机抽样的方式对武汉职业技术学院2010届毕业生进行调查,采用问卷调查的方式了解了高职学生的就业压力源、择业效能感状况,并探讨了两者之间的关系。通过相关分析、t检验、方差分析、回归分析,结果表明,(1)高职学生就业压力普遍较大,其中缺乏求职帮助、专业供求矛盾、自我认识与定位成为就业压力最显著的三个来源。(2)高职生的就业压力有如下特点:女生压力大于男生,文科学生比理工科学生更多面临缺乏求职帮助和专业供求矛盾的压力。城市生在职业素质评价和就业心理预期两方面的压力显著高于农村生;非学生干部就业时的总体压力要普遍高于学生干部。(3)高职学生的择业效能感普遍不高,其中高职大学生在职业目标筛选方面的自信心最强。(4)高职大学生中,文科生在信息收集和制定计划两方面的择业效能感要显著低于理科和工科学生;高职生的择业效能感没有性别、城乡生源、是否学生干部等差异。(5)高职大学生就业压力和择业效能感之间有着密切的相关,其中,职业素质评价、自我认识与定位的压力越小,则高职大学生更有择业效能感。  相似文献

本文对我国高等教育布局结构中面临的各种挑战进行分析,指出当前我国高等教育布局结构中存在如下主要问题:片面追求高校综合化;人才培养结构与专业结构的发展定位不适应;行业类专门院校服务能力明显下降;新建本科院校办学特色作用发挥不突出。针对这些问题,文章提出了下列对策建议:加强系统的整体规划,落实有效的评估与监测调控;加强分类指导,建立相关标准;建立起新的体制机制,加强高校与行业企业的联系;建立人才需求预测及预警机制。  相似文献

The development of support staff was a key aspect of the Labour government’s reform of the school workforce in England. As part of this strategy approximately 25,000 Teaching Assistants (TAs) gained Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status and were deployed in schools in a variety of roles, often operating in a quasi-teaching role. The research re-visits individuals who had acquired HLTA status between 2006 and 2009 and had participated in a questionnaire survey regarding their role at that time. A duplicate questionnaire was distributed in 2013 to 305 of these HLTAs and was followed up in 2014 by focus groups with self-selecting individuals from the original sample. To date there has been little research relating to the development of the HLTA role and the implications this has for both teachers and pupils, particularly in terms of provision for the most vulnerable learners.  相似文献

With the rapid expansion of graduate education in China, graduate curriculum evaluation has aroused great concern from the administrators and researchers. Many colleges and universities have developed their graduate curriculum evaluation system based on educational policy, job analysis or discussions of school administrators. To date, very few systemic studies in this field have been done in China, and little is known about students’ view on the evaluation system. In this study, 30 second-year graduate students from a comprehensive university were selected to participate in a semi-structured interview. It was found that graduate students attached more importance to the following 5 aspects: 1) The curriculum objectives should be employment-oriented and in line with students’ need of future employment and long-term development; 2) The curriculum content should be up to date and its breadth and depth of coverage are appropriate; 3) The instructor's teaching approaches should be flexible and varied, emphasizing student participation and teacher-student interaction; 4) The learning evaluation should be conducted fairly and reasonably in various ways; 5) The curriculum should be able to effectively promote students’ mastery of knowledge and capacities. This study will provide the evidence for rethinking and improving graduate curriculum evaluation system.  相似文献

Today’s society is continuously coping with sustainability‐related complex issues in the Science‐Technology‐Environment‐Society (STES) interfaces. In those contexts, the need and relevance of the development of students’ higher‐order cognitive skills (HOCS) such as question‐asking, critical‐thinking, problem‐solving and decision‐making capabilities within science teaching have been argued by several science educators for decades. Three main objectives guided this study: (1) to establish “base lines” for HOCS capabilities of 10th grade students (n = 264) in the Israeli educational system; (2) to delineate within this population, two different groups with respect to their decision‐making capability, science‐oriented (n = 142) and non‐science (n = 122) students, Groups A and B, respectively; and (3) to assess the pre‐post development/change of students’ decision‐making capabilities via STES‐oriented HOCS‐promoting curricular modules entitled Science, Technology and Environment in Modern Society (STEMS). A specially developed and validated decision‐making questionnaire was used for obtaining a research‐based response to the guiding research questions. Our findings suggest that a long‐term persistent application of purposed decision‐making, promoting teaching strategies, is needed in order to succeed in affecting, positively, high‐school students’ decision‐making ability. The need for science teachers’ involvement in the development of their students’ HOCS capabilities is thus apparent.  相似文献

Research has shown that attending a relatively selective four-year college over a less selective alternative is positively related to bachelor's degree completion. This paper revisits that question with a novel dataset of over 11,000 sets of twins in the United States and information on colleges to which they apply, enroll, and potentially graduate. I show that a student's probability of bachelor's degree completion within four years increases by 5 percentage points by choosing an institution with a median SAT score 100 points higher than the alternative. Moreover, the estimated magnitude of impact is insensitive to several methodologies, including OLS, twin fixed effects, and controlling for the application portfolio. This suggests that in certain contexts, sources of bias perceived as barriers to obtaining causal estimates of the returns to college selectivity, such as unobserved family characteristics and student aspiration, may be of little concern.  相似文献
