个别化自主学习模式的建立是现代远程开放教育预期的重要目标之一．文章就此问题指出目前在个别化自主学习中存在的问题，提出了相应的解决措施：加强对学生学习观念的更新，做自主学习的主人：加强对学生学习方式的指导，提高自主学习的有效性；指导学生尽快掌握计算机技能和运用多种资源的手段：加强对个别化自主学习的监控以加强对个别化自主学习的组织指导。最终，文章进一步提出了以主体化、信息化、功能化和管理科学化的原则开展学习支持服务的具体措施。 相似文献

Introductory engineering courses are either programme specific or expose students to engineering as a broad discipline by including materials from various engineering programmes. A common introductory engineering course that spans different engineering programmes raises challenges, including the high cost of resources as well as the lack of background courses of first-year students. This paper presents the design, implementation and evaluation of a first-year common engineering course that uses low-cost materials to expose students to a structured engineering design process. The course is explicitly designed to satisfy the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology criteria for engineering programmes. Our experience with the course shows that not only students are able to follow a structured design process successfully but we also believe that most of the ABET criteria are being delivered through the course. 相似文献

In this article we first describe the past and current status of educational technology at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) (http://www.njit.edu). We then discuss the main points of deliberation for students, faculty and administrators involving learning via the World Wide Web and other information technologies, such as the Virtual Classroom TM (http://www.vc.njit.edu). Implementation and expansion of Web-based instructional activities at NJIT is occurring in all colleges of the university. In the Computer and Information Science (CIS) and Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) departments, there is an ongoing and concerted effort to find practical applications of technology that meet educational ends. Such productive mergers highlight the complex issues that exist among instructional staff, administrative concerns and distance learning technologies. We conclude with a suggestion as to how such activity, in concert with a more developed communications tec hnology infrastructure, can serve to enhance the educational experience and outcomes of NJIT students. 相似文献

开放教育的考试基本上是传统教育考试的框架,能否用现代远程教育理念去改革、创新将直接关系到开放教育的教育质量以及人才培养的目标实现。本文针对目前开放教育考试中存在的死记硬背的题型、考试形式的陈旧、方法单一等问题,提出了开放教育考试要突出考试内容的创新、题型的灵活、考试方法的科学及考试的开放性的改革理念及解放思想、更新观念、大胆探索,从改革考试形式入手,改进书面考试题型,完善、规范形成性考核,逐步试行计算机无纸化考试等具体建议,使考试进一步科学地服务于教学。 相似文献

In this paper, using the energy concept, the control of traffic flow by traffic lights on an over-saturated single intersection is addressed. By regarding the flow entry of vehicles as the energy stored in the system, we show that the dissipative system theory can be applied. As a result, a state feedback control law is found in terms of the solution of an associated dissipation equation that renders the system non-accumulative, i.e., to get out of the over-saturation situation. The results of the simulations indicate that our control strategy guarantees a high degree of control benefit. 相似文献

Systems and methodologies have been developed to improve the learning and practice of programming. We examine the kinds of support tools that have been developed to date, and we discuss their role in meeting the needs of beginning students. We begin with a literature review to summarize the actual difficulties involved in learning the tasks of program development. A comprehensive survey of environments developed to support the learning of problem solving and programming follows, covering programming environments, debugging aids, intelligent tutoring systems, and intelligent programming environments. A careful analysis of these systems uncovers the limitations that have prevented them from accomplishing their goals. 相似文献
