Implementing Problem-Based Learning in Principal Training： The First Pilot Program in China

In designing and implementing the pilot program of serving principal training, the author of this paper learnet the experience from what E. Bridges and E Hallinger did but didn＇t imitate fully, rather, created several new strategies because Chinese principals faced different situation from their American counterparts. The pilot program introduced and implemented the Problem-Based Learning （PBL） approach. The outcome of this pilot program shows： （1） PBL is a promising approach to serving principal training in China in casting off the traditional ＂chalk and talk＂ lecture approach. （2） The actual learning of trainees will happen prior to the classroom sessions if a trainer lets trainees participate the process of problem identification in pre-training stage. （3） PBL approach is much welcome and strong supported by local government and policymakers when the focal problem is related to implementation of current local nolicv.  相似文献

The experience of professional autonomy among psychotherapists in Korea and the United States

This study investigates professional autonomy as experienced by psychotherapists in Korea and in the United States using data collected as part of a collaborative international study of the development of psychotherapists (Orlinsky et al. (1999). Psychotherapy Research, 9(2), 127–153; Orlinsky & Rønnestad, (2005). How psychotherapists develop: A study of therapeutic work and professional growth. Washington, DC: American Psychological Association). The major aims are: to compare the extent of professional autonomy experienced by psychotherapists in Korea and by their counterparts in the USA; and to explore the professional and social correlates of the professional autonomy experienced by Korean therapists and compare these with the correlates of autonomy experienced by American therapists. These aims are pursued through analyses of a database of questionnaire responses. Results indicate that Korean therapists, compared to American therapists in our sample experience significantly lower levels of professional autonomy. For Korean therapists, whether they have a salient theoretical orientation in their practice is the single most important influence in their experience of work autonomy. Seniority and work setting are also significant correlates of autonomy for the Korean therapists. Similar to Korean therapists, seniority and having a salient orientation are also important influences on the way American therapists experience professional autonomy. American therapists, who work in independent practice experience higher work autonomy, whereas American social workers tend to experience lower professional autonomy.  相似文献

An integrated model of workload,autonomy, burnout,job satisfaction,and turnover intention among Taiwanese reporters

This study examines the relationships among workload, news autonomy, burnout, job satisfaction, and turnover intention among Taiwanese reporters. Results of a survey of 1,099 reporters indicate that workload and news autonomy were significantly associated with burnout. In addition, burnout was found to be negatively related to job satisfaction, which in turn had a significant effect on turnover intention. The results not only highlight the important role of workload and news autonomy in predicting burnout, but also extend previous research on journalist burnout by showing that job satisfaction acts as a mediator in the relationship between burnout and turnover intention.  相似文献

Handwriter identification aims to simplify the task of forensic experts by providing them with semi-automated tools in order to enable them to narrow down the search to determine the final identification of an unknown handwritten sample. An identification algorithm aims to produce a list of predicted writers of the unknown handwritten sample ranked in terms of confidence measure metrics for use by the forensic expert will make the final decision.Most existing handwriter identification systems use either statistical or model-based approaches. To further improve the performances this paper proposes to deploy a combination of both approaches using Oriented Basic Image features and the concept of graphemes codebook. To reduce the resulting high dimensionality of the feature vector a Kernel Principal Component Analysis has been used. To gauge the effectiveness of the proposed method a performance analysis, using IAM dataset for English handwriting and ICFHR 2012 dataset for Arabic handwriting, has been carried out. The results obtained achieved an accuracy of 96% thus demonstrating its superiority when compared against similar techniques.  相似文献

虽现行《保险法》第12条第6款对保险利益下总括性定义，但该界定模糊，导致对保险利益的理解不一致，在具体适用时，争议颇多，法官的自由裁量权难以把控，易将保险利益界定扩大或不合理缩小。故应对财产保险利益的范围明确列举，采取法定权利人、占有人、管理人以及合同主体的分类列举方式；人身保险利益的范围增加具有法定保险利益的人员，将各国所普遍承认的合伙人、债务人等与投保人具有商业利益关系的相关人员列入，同意原则需加以被保险人书面同意方式的要求；同时，为适应保险市场的发展，增加对保险利益转移和消灭的规定。  相似文献
