| 摘 要： | 奥林匹克文化和现代体育模式及概念对中国现代体育的形成起了决定的影响。青年会（YMCA）对中国参与远东运动会起到了积极的推动作用．20世纪初中国社会发生了巨大的变化。人们渴望新文化和价值观。现代体育和奥林匹克文化迎合了中国当时的历史条件的需要，现代体育具有中国传统体育无法比拟的优势，发起远东运动会和参与国际奥林匹克事务对现代体育在中国的传播起到了决定性的作用。现代体育首先被中国的学校所接受和引进，以奥林匹克运动为代表的体育模式首先吸引了中国的青年。现代体育有其严谨的组织模式，这正是中国传统体育模式所欠缺的，所以现代体育容易形成它的规模，而最终演变成了中国现代体育模式。

| Abstract: | The modem Olympic movement and its associated spirit and culture, the YMCA, Far East Games and concept of westem sport were decisive influences on the formation of modem Chinese sports. Each was important in the transformation of traditional Chinaese sporting culture towards a development which fit the needs of an emerging Chinese state in the 20th century. Participation in the Far East Games and in the Olympic Games brought about a fundamental change to forms of traditional Chinese sport. |
