| Abstract: | Functionalist skopos theory has contributed a lot to translation teaching.After summarizing the expositions on translator training by the two leading exponents,Hans J.Vermeer and Christiane Nord,the paper discusses the status quo and shortcomings of translation teaching in China,and probes the inspiration of functionalist skopos theory. |
