目前知识工程研究已逐渐成为教育技术学研究领域的热点问题,其中构建领域本体是知识工程的一个重要方面。从已有的基于本体的应用研究来看,领域本体可以在学习者模型建立、网络教学支撑平台开发、智能答疑系统开发、资源库建设等诸多方面发挥重要作用,而构建领域本体是各种应用得以实现的前提。然而构建领域本体是一项浩大的工程,需要大量领域专家的参与,当前是手工完成的,建设周期长。面对一个知识迅速增长的时代,仅仅依靠领域专家来手工构建领域本体显然不能满足需求。因此,本研究提出一种基于文本挖掘的领域本体半自动构建方法,即借助于面向文本的智能信息处理技术从教科书或科技资料中提炼出概念、概念定义和概念之间的关系,并辅之以学科专家和知识工程师的参与,从而加快领域本体建设速度。整个构建过程由“文献材料选取”、“文献材料文本处理”、“概念关系标注”、“形式化表示与存储”、“知识库评价”等五个环节组成,涉及信息提取、中文分词、术语自动提取、术语定义自动抽取等技术以及基于术语部件的概念间属种关系、并列关系半自动发现方法和基于术语互信息值的概念关联关系半自动发现方法等方法。文章还针对当前开展的全国中小学教师教育技术能力培训的学习资源需求,选取“教学设计”这一课程作为研究个案,以基于文本挖掘的领域本体半自动构建方法来建设教学设计学科领域本体,以便进一步丰富和优化教师教育技术能力远程培训的学习资源。  相似文献

Problem-based learning (PBL) is a student-centered instructional strategy in which students solve problems and reflect on their experiences. Different domains need different approaches in the design of PBL systems. Therefore, we present one case study in this article: A Java Programming PBL. The application is developed as an additional module for the Learning Management System (LMS). In this paper, our aim is to explore the predictors of adoption by students of a Learning Management System (LMS) based on a Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment as well as the influence of active student participation and the interactive usage of an LMS on the achievements of students in a blended learning environment. Our study was conducted on 169 students, who are using an LMS for the first time in their studies, from the largest university from Serbia. Our findings indicate that students' active participation in class has a stronger positive effect on students' achievement than does students' interactive usage of the LMS. A stepwise linear regression analysis revealed that a student's interactive usage of the LMS and his/her active participation in class accounted for 47% of the variation in a student's achievement. A student's interactive usage of the LMS is only affected by his/her perceived easy usage of the LMS.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Learning Management System (LMS)-enabled blended learning has been adopted by higher educational institutions for promoting accessible and effective pedagogy and andragogical practices. The introduction of this mode of learning has altered the traditional face-to-face interaction. However, the lack of actual usage and online presence by instructors in an LMS-enabled blended learning environment seems to be a major setback for its success. Consequently, LMS-related anxiety has been cited as one of the behavioural challenges hindering its usage in Africa. Hence, this paper is focused on unravelling the antecedents of tutors’ anxiety towards actual LMS usage based on a Technology Related Stimulus-Response Theoretical Framework (TR-SR-TF). In view of this, the study employed a survey design, adopting a questionnaire as data collection instrument from 267 distance education tutors across study centres within Ghana. The results from Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) technique revealed three underlying factors determining LMS anxiety, namely; colleague influence, outcome expectation and use support. However, the result of the Importance Performance Map Analysis (IPMA) showed that colleague influence was the most important indicator while outcome expectation was the highest performance indicator of tutors’ LMS related anxiety. The study recommended that such factors like colleague influence, outcome expectation and use support should be consciously addressed in order to reduce (if not totally eliminate) anxiety towards LMS use for blended learning.  相似文献

网络教学平台对E-Learning发挥着基础性的支撑作用,国内外网络教学平台的发展状况是当前研究的热点之一。Moodle、Sakai、Blackboard和4A网络教学平台经过国际著名评价网站EduTools测评,结果显示:各平台总体功能基本类似,各有一些特色之处,但功能层次比较低,且互相之间缺乏融合。为了使平台真正起到支持和促进学习者学习的作用,现有平台的开发需要转换思路,从用户使用的角度出发,以用户为中心来设计和优化平台,提升用户体验,满足用户需求。  相似文献

Open educational resources (OER) are digitised material freely available to the students and self learners. Many institutions had initiated in incorporating these OERs in their higher educational system, to improve the quality of teaching and learning. These resources promotes individualised study, collaborative learning. If they are coupled with Learning Objects of Learning Management System (LMS), they can lead to opportunities for further pedagogical innovation. It has become increasingly important for educational institutions to support these resources, in a planned and systematic manner. Adapt, assemble and conceptualise existing OERs to respond to diverse learning needs of students and support a variety of learning approaches for a given learning goal is a challenge. In this work, convergence of OERs with Learning Objects is done through metadata using classification techniques. Localisation of these high quality learning materials with the learning content of LMS, delivered as a single instructional unit may help in greater knowledge delivery and this can satisfy the learning needs of diverse student.  相似文献

Currently the challenges in e-Learning are converging the learning content from various sources and managing them within e-learning practices. Data mining learning algorithms can be used and the contents can be converged based on the Metadata of the objects. Ensemble methods use multiple learning algorithms and it can be used to converge the Learning Objects from Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Knowledge Objects from Knowledge Management System (KMS). This can increase the performance of the learning system, especially when there is different content available from a variety of models. In this research, Data mining ensemble techniques are used so that an appropriate learning content is delivered to the learner. By converging, the learning content from various sources the Learning system pedagogies can also be revolutionized and a right learning path can be provided to the learners. INTUITEL is a research project aiming to offer a personalized learning environment. The INTUITEL approach includes an Intelligent Tutoring System that gives students recommendations and feedback about what the best learning path is for them according to their profile, learning progress, context and environmental influences. INTUITEL combines efficient pedagogical-based recommendations with freedom of choice and it introduces this tutoring support in different Learning Management Systems. During the INTUITEL project various software and pedagogical testing procedures were defined to provide the development teams with feedback, both summative and formative. The current paper describes the initial user test, which was conducted at the University of Valladolid for the course “Network Design”. The experiment was focused on real learners’ reactions to INTUITEL recommendations received by an INTUITEL-enabled LMS. Nineteen students participated in a two phase testing procedure in order to analyze the learners’ behavior with INTUITEL, as well as obtaining information about how learners perceive the influence and usefulness of the tutoring system in online learning courses. Results show that students with INTUITEL follow learning paths that are more suitable for them. Besides, the general satisfaction level of participants is high. Most learners appreciate INTUITEL, would follow its recommendations and consider the messages shown by INTUITEL as useful and caring.  相似文献

This article attempted to reveal an action research study with Interactive Teaching and Learning(IT&L) in a Confucianist-based higher education system in China. What makes the research special is that the Chinese education system is characterized by a teacher-centered pedagogy derived from Confucianist culture and tradition, the very antithesis of the interactive model. The methodology used is action research, where the researcher is an EFL teacher doing the interactive teaching, grounded in an interpretive epistemology and a constructivist ontology.  相似文献

Promoting open reflection and exploration on group dynamics is delicate work and is often considered ‘not very business-like’ in a business context. How to approach this work is a constant balance and struggle for action learning practitioners. In this account of practice, we present central elements in our action learning framework – Action Lab® – where the design builds on Business Driven Action Learning. We share core ideas and assumptions behind our action learning approach, which is informed by a systems psychodynamic understanding of groups. This account of practice aims at sharing and discussing ideas and distinctive work modes for creating double awareness – i.e. how to maintain a balanced awareness of task and process and how to increase self and social awareness – in a performance-driven business contexts.  相似文献

The rapid uptake of campus-wide Learning Management Systems (LMS) is changing the character of the on-campus learning experience. The trend towards LMS as an adjunct to traditional learning modes has been the subject of little research beyond technical analyses of alternative software systems. Drawing on Australian experience, this paper presents a broad, critical examination of the potential impact of these online systems on teaching and learning in universities. It discusses in particular the possible effects of LMS on teaching practices, on student engagement, on the nature of academic work and on the control over academic knowledge.  相似文献

Database files and additional log files of Learning Management Systems (LMSs) contain an enormous volume of data which usually remain unexploited. A new methodology is proposed in order to analyse these data both on the level of both the courses and the learners. Specifically, regression analysis is proposed as a first step in the methodology in order to explore how e-learning contents and characteristics of the course (such as a theory or lab course, a first- or second-year course, etc.) influence performance. Further investigation of each course, according to learners' usage, is achieved by archetypal analysis, which pinpoints the typical usage. The proposed methodology was successfully applied to LMS data from a Greek University. The results confirmed the validity of the approach and showed a relationship between the educational content which was provided and its usage by the learners.  相似文献

The present paper examines student use of and satisfaction with the Learning Management System (LMS), and how these dependent variables are correlated with organizational variables at one Israeli university. Data on 1212 course websites was gathered in 2007 from the LMS warehouse, the student-management database, the instructor–management database, and satisfaction questionnaires. The findings indicate varied use of LMS, a high level of satisfaction, and low significant correlation between use and satisfaction. As for the organizational variables, course content was found to significantly correlate with use and satisfaction; course size, instructor status and forum existence showed significant correlation with LMS use; and course discipline had low correlation with satisfaction. Further studies and practical implications are discussed.  相似文献

语义Web强调对网络资源附加可供机器理解和处理的语义信息,使人与电脑之间更好地协同工作,同时也使资源的大规模重用和自动化处理成为可能。近年来,随着语Y,.Web技术的不断发展,各种e—Learning平台(适应性学习系统、智能导师系统、语义化知识社区等)纷纷尝试引入语义技术,为用户提供更加个性化和智能化的学习服务。学习元平台(LCS)基于语义化组织的学习资源,应用语义Web体系框架中的本体技术和推理技术,构建了包含OntologyAPI层、语义层、标注层和推理层的语义技术框架。依托该框架,LCS分别在学习资源的有序进化控制、学习资源的动态语义关联、学习资源的动态语义聚合、学习资源的适应性推荐、学习资源的语义化检索以及社会认知网络的动态构建等方面进行探索性研究,实现从资源的语义化组织到具有更强智能性和个性化的高级应用服务。这些应用实践表明,将语义技术在e-Learning系统中推广应用,需要积极引入外部开放、成熟的本体和更多高级应用服务,集成具有较强针对性和运行效率的推理机,在人工标注和自动标注相结合的基础上,关注资源和用户的语义化表征,重视情境模型的设计和情境本体的构建。  相似文献

设计一种基于单片机实现SPWM变频调速的系统,给出了单片机实现三相交流电动机SPWM变频调速的硬件电路及采用对称规则进行采样的SPWM波形的软件方法。实践表明,该系统工作稳定,可靠性高,能用于三相交流电动机变频速度中,具有较好的实用价值。  相似文献
