一般来讲,道德教育是培养人处理人际关系和人与自然关系善恶好坏的行为规范,公民教育是培养现实公民的活动,其教育内容包括知识、技能、道德、价值观等,核心是公民权利教育和公民义务教育,公民道德教育特指培养公民的国民公德和社会公德的活动。三者在"公德"方面既有交叉点,又各有其基本内涵和教育重点,在特定的教育实践中不能混用或套用。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This article proposes that Catherine Elgin and Nelson Goodman’s work on exemplification is relevant for discussions within moral philosophy and moral education. Generalizing Elgin and Goodman’s account of exemplification to also cover ethics, the article develops a two-factor account of moral exemplarity. According to this account, instantiation and expressivity are individually necessary and jointly sufficient conditions for someone or something to function as a moral exemplar. Applying this two-factor account of exemplarity to discussions within the philosophy of moral education the article then argues that it is the expressive aspect of moral exemplars, which explains and justifies the educational significance of such exemplars. The article concludes by discussing the similarities and differences between the expressivity account and the transparency criterion formulated by Michel Croce and Maria Silvia Vaccarezza in a recent paper.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

When, in societies today, civic commitment decreases, there is a call for the need to strengthen citizenship education, identified uniquely with its public dimension and, on the other hand, the requirement for character education has been advocated, which is a cultivator of the most strictly private dimension. Setting out from the recognition of the new social conditions, mediated by the phenomenon of globalisation and of the place that people have in these new contexts, we ask ourselves about the new profile which the construction of citizenship must adopt. We endeavor to show that the moral dimension is the core of reconsidering the link between the private and the public, so it would currently be meaningless to propose an education of citizenship exclusively focused on its public dimension.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Recent critics have suggested that character education (either in and of itself or certain instantiations of it) is overly individualised and, as a result, fails to engage adequately with the political. In this paper, I offer an account of character education which takes issue with such criticisms, and seeks to make clear connections between the moral and the political necessary for character formation and expression. Drawing on an Aristotelian understanding of the political, I argue that individuals are intimately connected with their social associations, which in contemporary plural, westernised democracies include the sort of engagement with the political advocated by critics of character education. Through a focus on civic virtue and deliberative engagement, it is argued that an Aristotelian-inspired account of character addresses the precise concerns, including recognising and challenging social injustices and deliberative engagement with difference, which critics suggest are lacking from character education.  相似文献

道德教育为公民教育的一个分支领域,它于晚近一些时候在欧洲大陆兴起,以法国为主要发起国。19世纪以来,西方社会由传统农业社会向现代工业社会转变。在此过程中,旧的道德规范未能及时跟进,并建立与之相适应的新的价值理念,出现了道德真空,导致社会失范。涂尔干开出道德教育的药方,以此重建法国的道德秩序。法国教育部颁布《费里法案》,以官方形式推行涂尔干的思想。结合中国的具体语境,当前中国也处于社会转型期,物质文明上升到新的台阶,精神文明没能与物质文明同步协调发展,道德失范事件频发。涂尔干的道德教育思想对于当前中国以马克思主义占据主导地位的思想体系具有启示意义。围绕这个问题,对加拿大蒙特利尔大学社会学荣休教授马塞尔·福尼耶进行访谈。  相似文献

Modernity has imposed on many of us, and perhaps especially on academics, a habit of silence with regard to what John Rawls called deeply held ‘comprehensive’ moral beliefs. According to Rawls and his many disciples, the survival of liberalism depends upon the bracketing of comprehensive beliefs whenever we step into the public sphere. And in the field of higher education, that would have to include the classroom, the lab, the library carrel, the hotel conference suites where we confer and exchange ideas, as well as the vast academic publishing apparatus. I would like to call attention to the way that the supposed requirement of the Rawlsian silence is being challenged, not just by conservative critics but even by such a staunch defender of conventional liberalism as Jürgen Habermas. Second, if Habermas and the other critics are right, then a fortiori, the public university—perhaps the most representative and exemplary of all the institutions of civil society—ought to welcome the infusion of relevant but closely held beliefs, including religious ones, in carrying out its research and teaching responsibilities.  相似文献

This paper examines an issue of recent Kant scholarship on education: the supposed disconnect between his theory of morals and his theory of character. While the debate is often couched in terms of Kant’s ‘phenomenal–noumenal’ distinction, or the distinction between moral theory and culture, I follow scholarship suggesting the best way to understand Kant’s distinction is by following his account of the ‘conduct of thought.’ Doing so demonstrates the Lectures on Logic and particularly, his account of prejudice, as playing a large role in the articulation of what it is to think subjectively. We also see the importance of conducting our thinking from the subjective standpoint to an objective (moral) one in order to fulfill our obligations to both think and act morally.  相似文献

本文归纳了当前发展教师领导的三种思路及其实践表现,并借助Habermas关于人类认识和旨趣的论述,剖析这三种教师领导发展思路的认识论基础,指出不同的教师领导发展思路正是基于行动者对学校教育、教师知识和教师权威持有不同的认知旨趣而产生的行动结果。文章进而指出虽然"社群为本"成为当前发展教师领导的最新取向,但仍需持解放认知旨趣与批判的立场,以防社群中已经存在的系统扭曲,使教师领导产生新的压迫。  相似文献
