In this paper, we consider the problem of Hopf bifurcation control for a complex network model with time delays. We know that for the system without control, as the positive gain parameter of the system passes a critical point, Hopf bifurcation occurs. To control the Hopf bifurcation, a time-delayed feedback controller is proposed to delay the onset of an inherent bifurcation when such bifurcation is undesired. Furthermore, we can also change the stability and direction of bifurcating periodic solutions by choosing appropriate control parameters. Numerical simulation results confirm that the new feedback controller using time delay is efficient in controlling Hopf bifurcation.  相似文献

In this paper, a delayed fractional eco-epidemiological model with incommensurate orders is proposed, and a control strategy of this model is discussed. Firstly, for the system with no controller, the stability and Hopf bifurcation with respect to time delay are investigated. Secondly, under the influence of the controller, the stability and Hopf bifurcation of the system is discussed, and it is indicated that the stability of the system can be changed by increasing the feedback control delay. In particular, a separate study is carried out on the bifurcation with respect to the extended feedback delay, and the bifurcation point is calculated. At last, to support the theoretical results, some numerical simulations are depicted.  相似文献

Bifurcation theory is commonly used to study the dynamical behavior of ecosystems. It involves the analysis of points in the parameter space where the stability of the system changes qualitatively. The type of bifurcation that associates equilibria with periodic solution is called Hopf bifurcation. In this paper, a life energy system dynamic model of two components with multiple delays is presented. It is shown that the interaction parameters of the delayed ecosystem play a fundamental role in classifying the rich dynamics and bifurcation phenomena. Regarding the combined interaction parameter as a bifurcation parameter, the bifurcation values in the parameter plane are displayed. The direction of the Hopf bifurcation and the stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions are determined by applying the normal form theory and the center manifold theorem. Moreover, the amplitudes of oscillations always increase as the interaction parameters increase, while the robustness of periods occurs as the interaction parameters vary. From an ecological point of view, the existence of Hopf bifurcation expresses periodic oscillatory behavior of the life energy system.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a discrete prey-predator system with harvesting of both species and Beddington-DeAngelis functional response. By using the center manifold theorem and bifurcation theory, we establish that the system undergoes flip bifurcation and Hopf bifurcation when the harvesting effort of prey population passes some critical values. Numerical simulations exhibit period-6, 10, 12, 14, 20 orbits, cascade of period-doubling bifurcation in period-2, 4, 8, 16 orbits and chaotic sets. At the same time, the numerically computed Lyapunov exponents confirm the complex dynamical behaviors. Moreover, a state delayed feedback control method, which can be implemented only by adjusting the harvesting effort for the prey population, is proposed to drive the discrete prey-predator system to a steady state.  相似文献

In this paper, a hybrid triple delayed prey predator bioeconomic system with prey refuge and Lévy jumps is established, where both maturation delay for prey and predator population and gestation delay for predator population are considered. For deterministic system, positivity and uniform permanence of solution are discussed. Local stability of deterministic system around interior equilibrium is investigated due to variations of triple time delays. For stochastic system without time delay, sufficient conditions for stochastically ultimate boundedness and stochastic permanence are discussed. Existence of stochastic Hopf bifurcation and stochastic stability are investigated. For stochastic system with triple time delays, existence and uniqueness of global positive solution are studied. Finally, combined dynamic effects of triple time delays and Lévy jumps on the hybrid stochastic system are discussed by constructing appropriate Lyapunov functions. Numerical simulations are supported to illustrate theoretical analysis.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a turbidostat model with delay interval on its output using a feedback control law, aiming to investigate how the delay interval affects the feedback control of the model. The delay interval is represented by two parameters, which describe the time delay distributed in a past sub-interval. We first prove the positivity and boundedness of solutions and the permanence of the model. Then, using the input flow rate as a feedback control variable, we discuss the asymptotical stabilization of a given state (i.e., the positive equilibrium) employing the method of Lyapunov functionals. Moreover, we further study the Hopf bifurcations induced by the two delay parameters. Our theoretical and numerical results all show that the delay interval can have a significantly different effect on the dynamics of a turbidostat model from other delay types.  相似文献

A differential-algebraic model system which considers a prey-predator system with stage structure for prey and harvest effort on predator is proposed. By using the differential-algebraic system theory and bifurcation theory, the dynamic behaviors of the proposed model system with and without discrete time delay are investigated. Local stability analysis of the model system without discrete time delay reveals that there is a phenomenon of singularity induced bifurcation due to variation of the economic interest of harvesting, and a state feedback controller is designed to stabilize the proposed model system at the interior equilibrium; on the other hand, the local stability of the model system with discrete time delay is also studied. The theoretical analysis shows that the discrete time delay has a destabilizing effect in the model of population dynamics, and a phenomenon of Hopf bifurcation occurs as the discrete time delay increases through a certain threshold. Numerical simulations are carried out to show the consistency with theoretical analysis.  相似文献

研究了脉冲非线性反馈控制方法控制Lorenz系统的混沌问题,首先从理论上论证了控制方法的正确性.然后设计出了三种控制器并给出了控制器应满足的条件,理论分析和数值模拟结果表明混沌Lorenz系统中的不稳定不动点能被稳定控制,而且Hopf分岔也能产生,给出了相应的数值模拟结果,例如不动点、极限环(IP)轨道,采用脉冲控制方法的优点是控制代价小,工程上易于实现,最后指出,对于其他具有平衡点对称的混沌系统如蔡氏电路系统的混沌控制,此控制策略同样有效。  相似文献

A smooth periodic delayed feedback (SPDF) control scheme is proposed for the fixed-time stabilization problem of linear periodic systems subject to input delay. By investigating the monodromy matrix of the periodic system, it is proved that the SPDF controller can achieve the fixed-time stabilization of linear periodic systems with arbitrarily long yet bounded input delays under the condition that the original system is uniformly completely controllable. The proposed controller is continuously differentiable and smooth. The SPDF control scheme is then applied to the elliptical spacecraft rendezvous problem. The effectiveness of the established method is verified on numerical simulations.  相似文献

Communication delays in networked control systems (NCSs) has been shown to have non-uniform distribution and multifractal nature. This paper proposes a delay distribution based stability analysis and synthesis approach for NCSs with non-uniform distribution characteristics of network communication delays. A stochastic control model related with the characteristics of communication networks is established to describe the NCSs. Then, delay distribution-dependent NCS stability criteria are derived in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Also, the maximum allowable upper delay bound and controller feedback gain can be obtained simultaneously from the developed approach by solving a constrained convex optimization problem. Numerical examples showed that the results derived from the proposed method are less conservativeness than those derived from the existing methods.  相似文献

A class of nonlinear systems is considered in this paper which contains multiple time-varying delays and additional disturbances. Motivated by a robust model-free state-feedback controller, an observer-based output-feedback controller is designed to achieve uniformly ultimately bounded tracking. A high-gain-like observer is designed to estimate the unmeasurable current states utilizing the delayed output, and the estimated states are further used to facilitate the development of the output-feedback controller. The control input is saturated to avoid the side effects resulting from the high-gain-like observer’s peaking phenomenon. Under some sufficient conditions, it is proved that the saturation of the controller will no longer take place after a specific time, and both the estimation error and the tracking error will be uniformly ultimately bounded. In the stability analysis, Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals are implemented to alleviate the difficulties resulting from the delays. Relationships among the delays, the desired trajectories, and the maximal tolerable error are identified. Behaviors of the closed-loop system under different observation and control gains are also analyzed. A two-link revolute robotic arm is taken as an example to conduct a series of simulations, and the results show that the output-feedback controller can recover the performance of the corresponding state-feedback controller.  相似文献

Having found hidden hyperchaos in a 5D self-exciting homopolar disc dynamo, we study the existence of a Hopf bifurcation, which leads to unstable limit cycles bifurcating from a stable equilibrium. Hidden chaos with only stable equilibria can be observed from the Hopf bifurcation: a typical way to enable hidden attractors to be located. We then provide a new fuzzy controller, and a fast fuzzy disturbance observer, based on terminal sliding mode control for synchronization of the hyperchaotic system. Fuzzy inference is considered to weaken the chattering phenomena. Using Lyapunov stability theory, the stability of the closed-loop system is proved. Finally, simulations of synchronization are illustrated to show the efficient performance of the designed control method via external disturbances and dynamic uncertainties.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the problem of delayed proportional-integral control of an offshore platform subject to self-excited nonlinear hydrodynamic force. By using current and distributed delayed states, a delayed proportional-integral controller is designed to stabilize the offshore platform. Under such a controller, the closed-loop system of the offshore platform is modeled as a nonlinear system with discrete and distributed delays, which allows us to employ the Lyapnov–Krasovskii functional method to analyze its asymptotic stability. Since an affine Wirtinger-based inequality is exploited to estimate the derivative of the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, a new stability criterion for the closed-loop system is derived, based on which, suitable control gains can be designed provided that a set of linear matrix inequalities are feasible. It is found through simulation results that the proposed control scheme can improve the control performance remarkably. Moreover, (i) compared with the existing delay-free controllers, the proposed controller can reduce the required control force and the oscillation amplitudes of the platform significantly; and (ii) compared with several delayed controllers, the proposed controller requires less control cost.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of stochastic stability and stabilization of stochastic Markovian jump delay systems (SMJDSs) based on LaSalle theorem. The time delays are assumed to be time-varying and numerous stochastic disturbances are considered. Attention is focused on the design of the mode-dependent state feedback controller for SMJDSs based on LaSalle theorem such that the closed-loop SMJDSs are almost surely asymptotically stable. The sufficient conditions for the solvability of the state feedback control problem are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). When the LMIs are feasible, the desired state feedback controller is also given. Two numerical examples including the vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) helicopter system are employed to demonstrate the effectiveness and usefulness of the method proposed in this paper  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the modeling and prediction of random delays in networked control systems. Considering the Gaussian mixture distribution followed by the random delays in real networks, the semi-continuous hidden Markov model (SCHMM) is proposed in this paper to model the random delays. The initialization and optimization problems of the model parameters are solved by using the K-mean clustering algorithm and the expectation maximization algorithm. Based on the model, the prediction of the controller-to-actuator (CA) delay in the current sampling period is obtained. The prediction can be used to design a controller to compensate the CA delay in the future research. Two illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed modeling and prediction methods.  相似文献

In this paper, the H control problem is investigated for a class of networked control systems with network-induced delay. A memory event-triggered scheme (METS) is proposed to reduce the redundant packet transmission in the network channel. Different from the normal event-triggered scheme (ETS), some recent released packets are stored at the event generator and controller sides, which are utilized for the first time to generate the triggered events and design the memory-based controller. The proposed METS has the following two merits. (1) The information of certain recent released signals are first utilized, which helps to improve the triggering instants at the crest or trough of the responses. (2) A state-dependent time-varying threshold parameter is designed, which can adjust the packet transmission rate according to the information of the state. Based on the proposed METS, a memory event-triggered controller is designed, the controller feedback gains and triggering parameters can be co-designed by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

The problem of bifurcation for delayed fractional neural networks(FNNs) with single delay has been considerably researched. It is more realistic to portray the dynamical properties of FNNs with multiple delays, but this has been not investigated before. This paper attempts to conduct a research on the stability and bifurcation for a FNN with double delays. The criteria of heterogeneous delays-induced bifurcations are decidedly procured. Then, the influence of solitary delay on the bifurcation point is ulteriorly displayed by delicate computation. It is demonstrated that the stability performance of the proposed FNN can be undermined or enhanced by varying properly time delay. Finally, illustrative examples are addressed to validate the availability of the proposed results.  相似文献

In this paper, a discrete hybrid three-species food chain system is proposed, where commercial harvesting on top predator is considered. Two time delays are introduced to represent gestation delay for prey and predator population, respectively. In absence of time delay, sufficient conditions associated with economic interest and step size are derived to show system undergoes flip bifurcation. In presence of double time delays, existence of Neimark–Sacker bifurcation and local stability switch are discussed due to variations of time delays. Furthermore, by utilizing new normal form of delayed discrete hybrid system and center manifold theorem, direction and stability of Neimark–Sacker bifurcation are studied. Numerical simulations are performed not only to validate theoretical analysis, but also exhibit cascades of period-doubling bifurcation, chaotic behavior and stable closed invariant curve.  相似文献

Population interaction may release poisonous chemicals to inhibit other species’ growth in the ecosystem, especially for the competitive populations. The negative effect of toxic chemical substances may not display immediately and appear with time lag during the species’ growth. In this work, we investigate a competitive system with the delayed toxic effects of the chemicals from species interaction. Theoretical results obtained in this work help us reveal the delayed toxic factors on species’ growth. We first consider the existence and the stability of the equilibria. The influence of delay terms on the positive steady state is validated. The delayed toxic effects here will contribute to the oscillation for the concentration of species when the value of time delay passes through a critical point. Besides, the stability of periodic solutions from the Hopf bifurcation and the direction of the Hopf bifurcation are also determined. Finally, several numerical examples are provided to validate the theoretical conclusions.  相似文献

In this paper, new control scheme is considered for exponential synchronization of coupled neutral-type neural networks (NTNNs) with both bounded discrete-time delay and unbounded distributed delay (mixed delays). It is assumed that only the measured output can be utilized to design the controller. Quantized output controllers (QOCs) are considered to save the bits rate of communication channels and the bandwidth. The main difficulty in solving this problem is to cope with the neutral terms, the delays, and the uncertainties induced by the quantization simultaneously. By designing new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals and proposing novel analytical techniques, sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the exponential synchronization of the interested NTNNs. The control gains are given by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which are not necessarily to be negative-definite matrices. Numerical examples are provided to verify the effectiveness and merits of the proposed approach.  相似文献
