[目的/意义] 随着图书馆新一代管理平台ALMA及以PRIMO为代表的发现系统在国内的推广应用,图书馆新服务平台环境下电子资源访问故障问题凸显,影响用户体验并困扰着图书馆员。由于电子资源访问故障成因复杂,其机理和应对机制已成为图书馆关注的重点。[方法/过程] 对国内外发现系统相关电子资源访问故障研究进行文献调研;分析从用户在发现系统触发检索请求到访问全文的流程;对ALMA系统上线以来若干电子资源访问故障案例进行分析。[结果/结论] 总结发现系统环境下电子资源访问故障成因及解决机制研究进展;梳理从用户在发现系统触发检索请求到访问全文的流程;结合案例,从Primo Central Index元数据质量、ALMA数据质量和相关配置、电子资源自身信息变更3个方面详细分析电子资源访问故障主要成因。提出图书馆可从为用户提供易于操作的访问故障反馈渠道、收集分析访问故障案例、建立电子资源故障解决流程、提升馆员解决电子资源故障的能力等方面应对访问故障。 相似文献

[目的/意义]针对本地化电子资源使用统计系统面临的新问题,提出用于解析HTTPS访问数据的方法并对其进行分析和评价,为图书馆在本地化电子资源使用统计系统中解决基于HTTPS协议访问的电子资源访问数据的采集问题提供参考。[方法/过程]从软硬件需求、网络条件、系统功能、用户配合需求4个方面对浏览器扩展程序、支持中间人技术的代理程序和支持SSL代理的网关型设备三种方法进行比较和评价。[结果/结论]研究表明,支持中间人技术的代理程序成本适中,系统功能最强,最适宜应用于本地化电子资源使用统计系统。在解决HTTPS访问数据采集问题的基础上,如何保障用户的隐私和数据安全,取得用户的合作和配合是本地化电子资源使用统计系统应用的最大难点。 相似文献

[目的/意义]对比分析国内图书馆自行采集电子资源使用统计数据的主要方法,解决现有技术方法无法采集基于HTTPS协议的电子资源访问信息的问题。[方法/过程]在现有基于旁路监听的采集模式的基础上对技术加以改进,通过策略路由和Fiddler代理程序来实现基于HTTPS协议访问的电子资源使用数据的统计和分析,并在此基础上设计并应用电子资源使用统计分析系统。[结果/结论]解决了基于HTTPS协议访问的电子资源使用数据的采集问题,对其他图书馆自行采集电子资源使用统计数据有一定的借鉴作用。 相似文献

在丰富的校园电子资源中,图书馆电子资源占有举足轻重的地位,但是图书馆的电子资源基本上来源于购买和自建。由于知识产权保护的需要,其中大部分电子资源是限制访问的,只有一小部分是免费访问的。通过对美国52所大学图书馆电子资源的校外访问方式的调查与研究,认为美国大学图书馆既重视电子资源的知识产权保护,也重视本单位合法用户的权益保护。 相似文献

基于元数据预索引的网络级资源发现系统是用户统一检索、发现学术资源的主阵地,多年以来积累了大量的、支持横纵向比对的用户行为数据,综合来看是可用的数据集。笔者通过剖析用户发现与获取电子资源的环境和行为数据集,运用统计分析、热点演化分析、聚类分析等方法,分析得出用户在发现系统上的检索量呈波动上升趋势,检索深度不断增强;发现系统能体现出用户周期性的、突发性的、结合时事热点产生的资源检索需求;来自不同供应商的电子资源发现量分布呈现长尾特征;用户通过不同渠道偏好访问不同电子资源平台,发现渠道的通畅对电子资源利用有明显的促进作用。最后,提出完善用户行为数据追踪、质量控制、关联分析等建议,以增强基于数据优化工作及服务的能力。 相似文献

针对目前图书馆馆藏资源与电子资源分散的问题,提出了使用XML(ExtensibleMarkup Language可扩展标记语言)技术构建元数据转换中间平台对异构的馆藏与电子资源进行整合的解决方案。该方案利用HTTP(Hyper TextTransfer Protocol超文本传输协议)协议模拟登录并访问“书生之家”电子资源,实现了馆藏书目与电子资源的OPAC(Online Public Access Catalog联机书目公共查询)统一检索。该文对系统的总体结构及其关键技术进行了介绍与分析。 相似文献

��[Purpose/significance] Electronic resources accessproblems are increasingly obvious because of the launch of new service platform ALMA and PRIMO, which confuses the librarians and affects users' experience. Library should pay more attention to it.[Method/process] The paper reviewed the literatures on electronic resources troubleshooting, analyzed the flow chart of electronic resources access in discovery system and also investigated examples of commonly encountered access problems.[Result/conclusion] Summarizing the research progress on electronic resources access issues and outline the access process. Major reasons of access trouble are examined from 3 aspects:metadata quality and configuration in Primo Central Index and ALMA, information change of electronic resources themselves. Many libraries are currently experiencing a transition from printed to electronic collections. This transition has led to changes in collection development practices as well as in the roles of information professionals who facilitate access to information. Roles of librarians in both public and technical/access services are converging. There is a demand for a new breed of librarians who understand the entire electronic information scenario: procurement, organization, access and public services. All these come into play when making decisions and choices for meeting users’ information needs. Libraries are addressing such issues as ownership versus access, consortial access to electronic resources, licensing and authentication, surrogate versus full-text electronic resources, and integration of free Web content into collections. When library staff resources are limited, administering post-cancellation access to electronic journal content can often be neglected when other demands of managing electronic resources take priority. Difficulties handling perpetual access include determining access rights from publishers’ license terms, verifying the paid content to which the library is entitled, and retaining access when a journal is transferred to a new publisher. Libraries can utilize their existing electronic resources management tools to develop staff workflows for perpetual access entitlements. In 1993 the Virtual Library of Virginia (VIVA) was established to provide a source of electronic collections and services for Virginia higher education institutions. Over time it became apparent that issues related to providing access to these electronic resources needed to be explored. To meet this need the VIVA Cataloging and Intellectual Access Task Force (VIVACAT) was formed. This article discusses the development of VIVACAT and its projects and accomplishments.
