通过对有关文献的系统梳理与归纳分析,将国内目前关于图书馆职业的研究内容分为图书馆员职业道德及其拓展、图书馆员职业能力与胜任力、图书馆员职业素养与素质、图书馆员职业生涯发展、图书馆员职业倦怠、图书馆员职业资格、图书馆员职业培训与继续教育、图书馆职业化与去职业化八个方面。在研究内容上,主题分布较为零散,现象描述较为普遍;在研究实践上,缺乏生动的图书馆职业活动实践;在研究方法上,思辨性理论探讨较多,实证类调查研究偏少。针对现有研究的不足,建立了一个整合分析框架,提出未来研究的五大趋向:图书馆人力资源职业化管理体系、图书馆职业生态的综合评估、图书馆员职业发展支持体系、图书馆职业体系与教育体系的有效对接、图书馆职业标准与规范体系。以期为我国图书馆职业发展提供思路借鉴。  相似文献

文章采用网络调研法梳理美国图书馆员数字素养教育内容概况,重点分析其教育内容特点,包括强调数字技术应用与开发技能、聚焦图书馆用户服务场景、注重培养职业道德与素养、倡导职业提升与自我发展。在此基础上结合我国图书馆员数字素养教育现状,提出应当从充实图书馆智慧服务相关教育内容、针对职业特点提供专业化教育内容、培养图书馆员数字道德伦理规范、重视图书馆员终身学习发展四个方面构建图书馆员数字素养教育内容体系,提升图书馆员数字素养水平。  相似文献

美国华人图书馆员协会是美国图书馆界具有影响力的少数族群图书馆员协会之一。研究发现,为维护华人图书馆员群体的权益,打破族裔职业藩篱,该协会通过参与主流社团的对话、联合其他少数族裔图书馆员组织、积极参与国家层面的图书馆事务等形式提升华人图书馆员群体的地位。此外,该协会还积极利用族群文化背景的优势,与祖籍地中国进行多元的互动,在美国与中国图书馆界之间架起桥梁,促进中美图书馆界之间的交流与合作。  相似文献

本文从职业刻板印象的分析视角对公众心目中的图书馆员形象进行分析,通过大样本问卷调查和SPSS统计发现:图书馆员让人感到亲近、不疏离;图书馆员事物管理能力和信息素养突出,人际沟通和创新能力略逊;图书馆职业具有明显的女性特征;公众非常愿意与图书馆员交往;图书馆员的图书管理员形象深入人心。但图书馆员总体形象与新时期服务型馆员期许仍有很大差距。  相似文献

利用文献调查法与内容分析法,解析日本图书馆职业资格认证标准与实施制度,把日本图书馆职业资格认证标准划分为全国性和地区性标准两类,前者包括文部省实施的司书职业资格认证标准、国立大学图书馆支援机构实施的大学图书馆业务能力考试认证标准、日本图书馆协会实施的高级司书认证标准、医学图书馆协会实施的健康科学信息专业人员认证标准,后者包括国立大学图书馆协会中国与四国地区分会实施的图书与学术信息专业人员认证标准。前两种认证标准主要采用学历认证、考试认证、等级认证相结合的交叉认证方式,后3种认证标准采用等级认证方式。5种认证标准基本遵循了解认证信息、向认证机构提出申请、提交材料、审查、颁发证书、证书更新的认证程序。最后归纳总结日本图书馆职业资格认证所具有的四大特点。  相似文献

This article explores the way librarians define, leverage, and amplify expertise in a twenty-first century academic library. An expert team comprised of a nursing librarian, online learning librarian, information-literacy librarian, and assessment librarian sorted the learning outcomes from the Information-Literacy Competency Standards for Nursing created by the Health Sciences Interest Group taskforce of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) by grade-levels. Results found distinguishing experts within a library supports the customization of scaffolded instruction. Additionally, using expert teams in academic libraries supports the larger mission of universities to integrate libraries into teaching and research.  相似文献

The study gathered data about librarians'' membership in institutional animal care and use committees (IACUCs) and their professional activities supporting animal researchers. Libraries affiliated with medical schools that were members of the Association of American Medical Colleges were surveyed. A survey was distributed via library directors'' email discussion lists and direct email messages. Sixty surveys were completed: 35 (58%) reported that librarians performed database searches for researchers, and 22 (37%) reported that a librarian currently serves on the IACUC. The survey suggests that academic health sciences librarians provide valuable, yet underutilized, services to support animal research investigators.  相似文献

This article contains a list of core veterinary serials that the Veterinary Medical Libraries Section of the Medical Library Association feels should be in any veterinary medical library serving an institution accredited by the Council on Education of the American Veterinary Medical Association. It is a list that can serve as a nucleus from which the collection can be further developed as determined by the research thrust of the institution that the library is serving. This article describes the outcome of a collaboration between a faculty member and a librarian to integrate information literacy into a graduate counseling psychology program. This collaboration used discipline-based standards from a professional association (the Association of Counselor Education and Supervision, ACES) to provide instructional goals, rather than utilizing the more traditional Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) standards. The authors discuss how using the discipline standards allows for a richer, more authentic collaboration, especially in a graduate program geared toward students who are already working in their field. Ultimately, using discipline standards could be a more effective way to promote information literacy in graduate and professional programs.  相似文献

Equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) have been core values and top priorities for academic institutions in recent decades. This paper presents a review on EDI and their manifestations in strategic planning of academic libraries. Advocating and advancing EDI have been broadly recognized as initiatives that create partnership opportunities and have been supported by various library associations, such as the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL), the American Library Association (ALA), and the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL) and Association of Research Libraries (ARL). The first section of this paper presents the initiatives and resources created by these library associations that provide example frameworks, roadmap, and planning for individual libraries to customize. The second section presents cases of EDI programs in the institutions that the author visited or studied for a professional development program in 2021–2022. The conclusion discusses recurring themes and initiatives. The findings outlined in this paper provide references, resources, and contexts for library leaders and the EDI team leaders to embark and sustain the critical journey of incorporating EDI values in their work and culture.  相似文献

Service to our users is the principal basis for a library's existence and as users' expectations increase, libraries must continually change their organization's policies, procedures and workflows to meet these expectations. In order to achieve this in the Acquisitions Monographs Unit at Texas A&M University (TAMU) Libraries, Library Administration utilized a public service librarian who has a strong user oriented background to provide a fresh look at established procedures. This librarian examined TAMU Libraries Acquisition Monographic policies, procedures and workflows from a user perspective and found some of them to be out of date. Then the librarian researched other businesses and libraries best practices which she then adopted and modified to fit the needs of her unit. These “New Best Practices” could be transferable to any library facing similar organizational needs.  相似文献
