The passage that John of Joinville, faithful companion of Louis IX, devotes to the Mongols in his chronicle of the Seventh Crusade, known as “La Vie de Saint Louis”, cross-conceives two structures under the sign of hope: historical facts and legends on the one hand, and Christian sensibilities on the other, giving way to a set of “ethnological” observations about what are presented as “barbarian” customs. The text gives a faithful reflection on sentiments which agitated the Crusaders and their King: hope and disillusion. 运用描述性统计、词频分析、Ucinet 6.0统计软件,对德国、法国、英国、意大利在欧洲专利局申请的体育专利的发展趋势、IPC及申请人进行分析。结果认为:2002—2011年,德国、法国、意大利各年度在欧洲专利局的体育专利申请量、体育专利申请量占相应年度世界体育专利申请总量的比例均呈下降趋势;2010—2011年,德国、法国、英国、意大利在欧洲专利局体育专利申请中的研发领域、技术应用的关联性、申请人的集群优势及主要技术应用具有不同的特点。为我国发现体育专利研发的创新点、了解竞争对手的技术应用、研发集群优势、规避因知识产权纠纷带来的风险提供了具有参考价值的竞争情报。  相似文献

This article compares videotext in France and the United States, the two advanced industrialized countries where videotext was the most and least successful, respectively, in order to demonstrate how videotext as a techno-political project foreshadows the explosive growth of the Internet as the dominant global communications platform. It draws upon the theory of network effects, in combination with a comparative analysis of both the institutional settings for research and development and political discourse, to explain how the interaction between state, market, and culture shaped network development and policy outcomes. Abstract

Although there has been a rapid growth in the globalisation of sport and its delivery to world markets, nevertheless there is a variety of models of sport-business whose characteristics are the product of local histories, local political and sporting cultures, local economic conditions and so on. This paper does not seek to deny the increasingly obvious impact of globalisation on professional sport, but rather it seeks to articulate the ways in which such global phenomena are locally mediated in professional soccer systems in five countries, to identify and to explain local responses to global pressures. The five examples include the oldest professional football system, that of England, and a second contrasting European system, France, together with three relatively recently established professional football systems in Japan a developed capitalist economy, Algeria, which is developing a post-socialist sports economy, and China which is experimenting in sport as in other areas with a ‘socialist market economy’. The resultant evolution of professional sporting systems represents distinctive configurations of stakeholders in what are in effect contrasting business models, and reflects a situation of ‘diminishing varieties and increasing contrasts’, in contrast to the claims made by Elias in relation to global cultural phenomena.  相似文献
