[目的/意义] 针对当前我国财经高校图书馆阅读推广活动中的长效发展乏力问题,探索建立一套规范有序的阅读推广长效发展体系,引导财经高校图书馆长期、深入地开展阅读推广和服务,提高人才培养及服务质量。[方法/过程] 采用问卷、文献调查、访谈以及网络调查等方法,对财经高校图书馆阅读推广活动进行调查统计,分析现有阅读推广活动中存在的规划缺失等问题。[结果/结论] 提出通过开展连续性的读者研究、加强读者阅读指导与阅读教育、建立阅读推广网格化体系、加强科学规划、建立阅读推广活动监督及有效性评价制度等举措,建立基于读者需求的图书馆阅读推广长效机制,保障财经高校图书馆阅读推广活动长期、稳定发展。  相似文献

[目的/意义]探索精细化阅读推广流程模式与评价方式,为高校图书馆开展阅读推广活动提供借鉴。[方法/过程]在文献调研基础上,以北京农学院图书馆为例,设计精细化阅读推广流程模式,并针对如何充分调查读者的阅读状况、明确读者的阅读需求点和兴趣点、策划阅读推广活动主题和形式、开展阅读推广活动、收集读者反馈意见、进行阅读推广效果评价等环节逐一进行分析,指出关键注意事项。[结果/结论]高校图书馆精细化阅读推广具有促进读者阅读、馆员成长、业务工作开展的良好效果,同时,良好的阅读推广效果也将促进精细化阅读推广的可持续发展。  相似文献

为推动国民优质阅读,向读者推荐好书,并引导读者深入领会好书内涵,本刊与首都图书馆联合举办了“首图讲坛·尚读沙龙”讲座。讲座以“平民、高端、精品、对话”为指导原则,每月举办一期,旨在通过以书为话题,启蒙阅读,在国内打造影响深远的高端阅读活动品牌。建立以精英杂志为引导、以首都图书馆为平台的新型国民阅读行为,以此对抗阅读的庸俗旨趣和市侩品位。今年以来,活动已陆续举办多期,深受广大读者欢迎。  相似文献

The Journal of the Medical Library Association (JMLA) conducted a readership survey in 2020 to gain a deeper understanding of our readers, their reading habits, and their satisfaction with JMLA''s content, website functionality, and overall quality. A total of 467 readers responded to the survey, most of whom were librarians/information specialists (85%), worked in an academic (62%) or hospital/health care system (27%) library, and were current Medical Library Association members (80%). Most survey respondents (46%) reported reading JMLA articles on a quarterly basis. Over half of respondents (53%) said they used social media to follow new research or publications, with Twitter being the most popular platform. Respondents stated that Original Investigations, Case Reports, Knowledge Syntheses, and Resource Reviews articles were the most enjoyable to read and important to their research and practice. Almost all respondents reported being satisfied or very satisfied (94%) with the JMLA website. Some respondents felt that the content of JMLA leaned more toward academic librarianship than toward clinical/hospital librarianship and that there were not enough articles on collection management or technical services. These opinions and insights of our readers help keep the JMLA editorial team on track toward publishing articles that are of interest and utility to our audience, raising reader awareness of new content, providing a website that is easy to navigate and use, and maintaining our status as the premier journal in health sciences librarianship.

The Journal of the Medical Library Association (JMLA), in tandem with the Medical Library Association (MLA), periodically conducts readership surveys to gauge how well the journal meets the needs and desires of its readers. However, much time has passed and many changes have occurred since our last readership survey was published in 2013 [1]. These changes include our transition from a largely print-based to an almost fully digital mode of publication, more extensive reliance on providing access to supplemental materials to improve the rigor and reproducibility of research findings, and the use of social media to share and stay abreast of new scholarly works. Therefore, we conducted a readership survey in 2020 to obtain a more current understanding of our readers, their reading habits, and their satisfaction with JMLA''s content, website functionality, and overall quality.The survey was implemented using Qualtrics and consisted of sixteen closed- and open-ended questions (Appendix A). The survey invitation was distributed on July 6, 2020, through MLA email listservs and social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn), JMLA''s Twitter account, and an announcement on the JMLA website. Recipients were encouraged to forward the invitation through other communication channels as appropriate. The survey was closed on July 20, 2020.  相似文献

This article focuses on translated fiction, its place and role in readers' advisory services in public libraries, and possible approaches that readers' advisors can take toward this type of reading material. It reviews the relevance of translated fiction to the needs of both English-speaking readers and immigrant readers who speak English as a second language. 学术论文的发表极其依赖于高质量的同行评议,尽管同行评议不尽善尽美,但能帮助作者提高论文的写作水平以及编辑人员的编辑水平。研究发现,对审稿质量做出最佳贡献的预测因素包括是否为大学附属医院工作的审稿人或研究生毕业10年内的年轻人。目前进一步改善审稿方法的效果很有限,因此有专家建议对审稿人进行正规培训。期刊及其编辑在选择审稿人时,要考虑他们具备何种知识和技能,是否有丰富的审稿经验。这有助于期刊编辑出版单位选择到合适的审稿人,并提高审稿质量。  相似文献

目前有些地球科学类国际期刊在文章致谢段中公布审稿人姓名,或者直接将审稿意见以报告形式刊出.分析表明:公布审稿人可为研究人员把握科研动向、跟踪研究进展提供帮助,具有科学研究风向标的作用;同时,公开审稿人可以使其规范自己的行为,审稿公开透明,起到监督作用,读者也可以通过审稿人甄别问题稿件,对文章进行选择引用.但是,多数审稿人对公开姓名持有保留态度,只有少数领域内的杰出的学者支持公开审稿人身份.本文作者认为:在获得审稿人同意的前提下,可以考虑公开杰出学者审稿人和绿色通道录用稿件的审稿人.由此可以获得读者认可,促进文章引用.  相似文献

为论证科技期刊按需编制印刷版年终主题词索引的合理性,本文设计问卷,调查《中华烧伤杂志》读者年龄、职称等一般信息.将调查对象按照上述内容进行分类,调查其是否知晓本刊年终主题词索引、查询本刊文章及检索医学文献的常用路径,对数据行Pearson卡方检验及Bonferroni校正.结果是:327名调查对象中,与41~50岁及51~60岁调查对象比较,21~30岁调查对象对本刊印刷版年终主题词索引的知晓比例明显下降(P值均小于0.05);与高级职称调查对象比较,无职称(研究生)、初级职称、中级职称调查对象对本刊印刷版年终主题词索引的知晓比例明显下降(P值均小于0.05).各年龄段及各种职称等级调查对象中,不足38%通过纸版期刊查询本刊文章.可见年轻读者对印刷版年终主题词索引的知晓度降低,应用率也较低,大部分读者倾向于通过网络查询期刊文章.提示科技期刊印刷版年终主题词索引的编制已失去原有的作用和意义,按需省略是合理的.  相似文献

This paper reports on a study of social scientists’ information seeking and use of scholarly journals to support scholarly communication and information needs. The goals of the study are: to explore the characteristics of information needs for social scientists; to discuss the importance of scholarly journals to social scientists and their information seeking and access means; to identify article reading patterns of social scientists; and to make comparisons between scholarly journals use and reading patterns of social scientists and other scientists in Taiwan and the USA. The author used a questionnaire survey and interview methods to investigate the information seeking, use and reading of scholarly journals, and article deep reading patterns of social scientists. The target population was social science faculty members from National Cheng-chi University in Taiwan. The article explores the characteristics of information needs for social scientists and shows that scholarly journals are important information resources for university social science faculty. Social science faculty in Taiwan use scholarly journals in multiple languages, mainly English, Chinese, German, and Japanese, which is different from scientists in the United States. In addition, they use electronic journals more than print journals. The number of article readings by social science faculty members was approximately 195 readings per year and nearly 440 h were spent reading per year. In contrast to scientists in the United States, the social scientists in Taiwan read fewer readings, spent more time reading, and read older articles. In addition, the study identifies article reading patterns of social scientists and proposes a six-type taxonomy of article deep reading. The study reports the scholarly journal use and reading behavior model of social scientists and shows there are some differences in scholarly journal seeking and use by social science faculty in Taiwan and scientists in the United States. Further studies of scholarly journal and electronic journal use and reading by social scientists across countries, subject disciplines, and languages of journals are needed.  相似文献

地球与环境科学信息网(EES)的函件推送系统具有推送内容丰富、期刊品种多样、推送对象精确、推送触发自动化以及适用范围广(可推送约稿函、邀请函、期刊宣传推广内容等)的特点.该系统以EES较大数据量和更小的元数据碎片化颗粒度为基础,经近4个月试运行,发送函件近4万件,EES点击量显著升高,平均日点击量为该系统未运行前的3.7倍.该系统发送的函件拒收率和退订率均小于1%,超过70%的访问来源为电子信箱直接链接,受访界面为期刊论文.此外,一些编辑部反馈编辑部网站访问量明显升高.以上数据均表明,该系统对科技期刊论文阅读率有良好的提升作用.  相似文献
