随着创业教育的深入开展,各高校纷纷在校内建设了大学生创业园等大学生校内创业市场。但在创业实践中,实现自我价值的检验标准往往是以创业所得来衡量,这就导致了大学生校内创业市场中的卖方极易利用买卖关系的信息不对称而开展恶性竞争,继而导致市场效率低下,直至创业市场被迫关闭。建立健全大学生校内创业市场制度,引导学生正确对待校内创业,实行交易信息公开,有助于达到规范市场交易行为、减轻逆向选择和道德风险影响的目的。  相似文献

The recent essay by Howard Woodhouse on Whithead and Hutchins raises important questions about the proper role of the university and the relation between colleges of arts and sciences and professional schools, particularly business schools. Woodhouse takes us most, but not all, of the way in exploring these questions. I argue that Whitehead's speculative metaphysics, not the seduction of the market, led him to include professional schools in universities. I suggest that it requires us to do so today, and I argue that only by recognizing this can we hope to counteract the logic of the market that, if anything, is even stronger today than 60 years ago.  相似文献

Alfred North Whitehead was a philosopher with an abiding interest in education. He took on an extraordinary number of educational and administrative duties while at the University of London, including membership on a National Committee on the position of the classics in the educational system of the United Kingdom. It comes as no surprise to learn that when he decided to joint the Philosophy Department at Harvard in 1924, he wrote that this would enable him to further deal with some general questions, "half philosophical and half practical."What is more surprising is the fact that his views on American university education are most clearly expounded in his personal interactions and writings dealing with the Harvard School of Business. By examining several of his essays on business education, as well as his correspondence with Dean Donham of the Harvard Business School, I argue that Whitehead's strong support of business education can seen to be all of a piece with his overall process philosophy of education and that his emphasis on the need to study what he calls the sociological dimension of business is a timely one in these days of proliferating business programs.  相似文献

在商务日语教学中,以缓冲语为中心的商务礼仪教育十分普遍和重要,"缓冲语"虽然不是敬语,但却是商务礼仪表达的重要环节,被列为大学生必须要掌握的商务日语知识要素之一。但是,缓冲语的教学在当前并未受到应有的重视,学习日语的中国人在一些重要场合常常会出现失礼的现象。研究、了解缓冲语的使用环境和使用方法,归纳一些经常使用的缓冲语表达方式,有利于学习者在正式的商务礼仪交往中,表现得更为礼貌和得体。日语教育者应该充分重视以缓冲语为中心的商务礼仪教育。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In Britain and New Zealand the neoliberal assault on universities has shifted from new public management and funding models to the special status of the public university. The project aims to complete neoliberal business initiated 25 years ago by more fully marketising and financialising universities, starting with ‘unbundling’ and outsourcing and culminating in new forms of privatisation, rent-extraction and rebundling. This paper analyses two documents commissioned beyond government to create political momentum for this project: Avalanche is Coming and The University of the Future. These both capture the zeitgeist of reform while simultaneously creating the university futures that they portend. We examine the market-making work they perform in reimagining and reinventing universities ahead of policy reform. We argue that claims made to support fundamental restructuring of public universities lack substance or evidence. Rather, each is underpinned by different configurations of ideology and self-interest that together envelope universities in new agendas of marketisation, financialisation and privatisation. We suggest that in this latest restructuring of public universities critics should pay more attention to the work of consultancies and think tanks alongside the micro-details of market making. By doing so, they too might reimagine public universities, but for a different political project.  相似文献

Results are reported from an empirical study of an interorganizational collaboration to prepare underrepresented students for elite postsecondary education and beyond. The LEAD (Leadership Education and Development) Program in Business is an initiative involving twelve U.S. universities, nearly forty multinational corporations, a federal government agency, and a nonprofit organization working together to introduce students to business education and careers in business. This article analyzes the conditions that give rise to the collaboration, its essential structural characteristics, and the consequences that flow from it.

Research into the international competitiveness of the higher education sector has shown that the approaches which management literature has introduced into the business sphere during the last half-century are being more and more frequently applied by successful universities as well. The authors extend the theory of export market orientation to the higher education sector, and explore the association between export coordination, export experience, export market orientation, export performance and the competitive environment in the context of the Hungarian higher education sector. The aforementioned relations are analysed on two subsamples (universities with a top performance vs. higher education institutions with a lower performance in regard to internationalization and scientific research). Based on the results, the authors conclude that export experience is a significant predictor of export performance in both groups of institutions, while export coordination can only explain changes in export market orientation for the group comprising the universities that lag behind in terms of internationalization. They observe, moreover, that the influence of export market orientation on export performance is stronger in the case of top-performing Hungarian universities, and that for the same group, the intensity of competition in international markets improves international orientation.  相似文献

MacIntyre’s earlier work and concern with social science enquiry not only exposes its limits, but also provides an insight into how its knowledge claims have been put to ideological use. He maintains that the institutional embodiment of these ideological ideas is the bureaucratic manager who has had a negative role to play in social structures because managerialism revolves around a notable absence, or at least marginalisation of conflict since the nature of rational debate and conflict is unpredictable and unmanageable, and hence would seriously undermine the perception trying to be projected of a competent technocrat in control of their organisation. MacIntyre, in lamenting the place of contemporary universities in society, highlights how most universities have become business corporations and irremediably fragmented and now serve purposes so alien and foreign from their initial conception as sites of constrained mutual rational debate and conflict. As a result, MacIntyre’s account of how managerial authority is justified in bureaucratic institutions and its social role and character is scathing and particularly apt for explaining the malaise of contemporary universities. In order to overcome this malaise, I want to struggle against the corporatisation of universities by revitalising and extending upon MacIntyre’s argument that a university is set up for constrained disagreement and imposed participation in conflict, and also highlight the importance of reason or wisdom and its development because it enables us to see the interconnectedness and interrelationship between different forms of knowledge that can lead us to truth and of the good.  相似文献

Since the mid-1980s, universities have been faced with the rising prominence of the economic mandate in relation to the university's academic mission. In large measure, this has resulted from governments using universities to promote national competitiveness, economic development and employment readiness. To some, universities, themselves, now appear increasingly to behave like business corporations. Many in academe abhor the corporatisation of universities and mistrust their boards of governors for promoting this. Against this background, I ask two questions about the ethics of governors in relation to trust. First, what is the basis of the moral obligation of the board of governors to the university? Second, what are the grounds for the university community determining the board of governors to be trustworthy? Philosophers of education have had much to say about universities, but little about the ethics of governance. In this article, I attempt to address the ethical foundations of governance, and to set out the conditions for the trustworthiness of a board of governors.  相似文献
