INTRODUCTION Wavefront coding was introduced to increase the depth of focus for optical system in 1995 by Dowski and Cathey (1995). A cubic phase mask was placed in pupil plane to encode the wavefront of the optical system by which the intermediate image formed could almost be invariant in a large depth of focus, and the intermediate image could be digitally restored into clear one. A non-contact method and system for measuring spinning yarn tension is developed using an image processing technique and based on the theory of yarn balloon dynamics. The theoretical basis of the measurement is the relationship among yarn tension, balloon shape, and spinning parameters. The yarn tension is determined according to the geometric parameters of the balloon, which are measured from an image of the balloon. The digital image is captured with a CCD sensor, and processed in a computer using a wavelet transform technique. A measuring system is developed, and experiments are carried out. The results show that the proposed non-contact method is effective in the on-line measurement of spinning yarn tension for improving the degree of automation of the spinning machine.  相似文献

This paper presents a quantitative method for automatic identification of human pulse signals. The idea is to start with the extraction of characteristic parameters and then to construct the recognition model based on Bayesian networks. To identify depth, frequency and rhythm, several parameters are proposed. To distinguish the strength and shape, which cannot be represented by one or several parameters and are hard to recognize, the main time-domain feature parameters are computed based on the feature points of the pulse signal. Then the extracted parameters are taken as the input and five models for automatic pulse signal identification are constructed based on Bayesian networks. Experimental results demonstrate that the method is feasible and effective in recognizing depth, frequency, rhythm, strength and shape of pulse signals, which can be expected to facilitate the modernization of pulse diagnosis.  相似文献

MRI and PET images fusion based on human retina model   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The diagnostic potential of brain positron emission tomography (PET) imaging is limited by low spatial resolution. For solving this problem we propose a technique for the fusion of PET and MRI images. This fusion is a trade-off between the spectral information extracted from PET images and the spatial information extracted from high spatial resolution MRI. The proposed method can control this trade-off. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to build a multiscale fusion model, based on the retinal cell photoreceptors model. This paper introduces general prospects of this model, and its application in multispectral medical image fusion. Results showed that the proposed method preserves more spectral features with less spatial distortion. Comparing with hue-intensity-saturation (HIS), discrete wavelet transform (DWT), wavelet-based sharpening and wavelet-à trous transform methods, the best spectral and spatial quality is only achieved simultaneously with the proposed feature-based data fusion method. This method does not require resampling images, which is an advantage over the other methods, and can perform in any aspect ratio between the pixels of MRI and PET images.  相似文献

MEMS Test System Based on Virtual Instrument Technology   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
On account of the multiformity of MEMS devices, it is necessary to integrate with some optical measurement techniques for meeting static and dynamic unit test requirements. In this paper, an automated MEMS test system is built of some commercially available components and instruments based on virtual instrument technology. The system is integrated with stroboscopic imaging, computer micro-vision, microscopic Mirau phase shifting interferometry, and laser Doppler vibrometer, and is used for the measurement of full-view in-plane and out-of-plane geometric parameters and periodical motions and single spot out-of-plane transient motion. The system configuration and measurement methods are analyzed, and some applications of the measurement of in-plane and out-of-plane dimensions and motions were described. The measurement accuracy of in-plane dimensions and out-of-plane dimensional is better than 0.2 μm and 5 nm respectively. The resolution of measuring in-plane and out-of-plane motions is better than 15 nm and 2 nm respectively.  相似文献

Fourier-domain rapid scanning optical delay line (RSOD) was introduced for phase modulation and depth scanning in a time-domain optical coherence tomography (TD-OCT) system. Investigation of parameter optimization of RSOD was conducted. Experiments for RSOD characterization at different parameters of the groove pitch, focal length, galvomirror size, etc. were performed. By implementing the optimized RSOD in our established TD-OCT system with a broadband light source centered at 840 nm with 50 nm bandwidth, in vivo retina imaging of a rabbit was presented, demonstrating the feasibility of high-quality TD-OCT imaging using an RSOD-based phase modulator.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel reconstruction technique based on level set method and algebraic reconstruction technique is proposed for multiphase flow computed tomography (CT) system. The curvature-driven noise reduction method is inserted into the conventional iteration procedure of algebraic reconstruction technique to improve the image quality and convergence speed with limited projection data. By evolving the image as a set of iso-intensity contours after each updation, the sufficient number of iterations for acceptable results is reduced by 80%-90%, while the image quality is enhanced obviously. Quantitative evaluation of image quality is given by using both relative image error and correlation coefficient. The resultant images can be utilized to detect flow regimes for monitoring industrial multiphase flow. Laboratory results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method. Phantoms of four typical flow regimes can be reconstructed from few-view projection data efficiently, and the corresponding image errors and correlation coefficients are acceptable for the cases tested in this paper.  相似文献

A precise zoom magnification is important for semiconductor industry and biomedical research. A novel measurement method is demonstrated for optical zoom magnification measurement in this paper. The magnification is obtained by pattern correction between barcode image formed by optical zoom and reference image generated by an ideal optical model. Measurement accuracy which is better than 0.06% has been achieved for optical zoom magnifica- tion. Compared with traditional concept, the measurement results are only dependent on two line edges. The barcode correlation method can achieve higher accuracy and better robustness by using the information over the whole field of view.  相似文献

In this paper, a wavelet packet feature selection method for lung sounds based on optimization is proposed to obtain the best feature set which maximizes the differences between normal lung sounds and abnormal lung sounds (sounds with wheezes or rales). The proposed method includes two main steps: Firstly, the wavelet packet transform (WPT) is used to extract the original features of lung sounds; then the genetic algorithm (GA) is used to select the best feature set. The obtained optimal feature set is sent to four different classifiers to evaluate the performance of the proposed method. Experimental results show that the feature set obtained by the proposed method provides a higher classification accuracy of 94.6% in comparison with the best wavelet packet basis approach and multi-scale principal component analysis (PCA) approach. Meanwhile, the proposed method has effective generalization performance and can obtain the best feature set without priori knowledge of lung sounds.  相似文献

Traditional methods for detecting symmetry in image suffer greatly from the contrast of im-age and noise, and they all require some preprocessing. This paper presents a new method of im-age symmetry detection. This method detects symmetry with phase information utilizing logGabor wavelets,because phase information is stable and significant, while symmetric points produce pat-terns easy to be recognised and confirmable in local phase. Phase method does not require any preprocessing. and its result is accurate or invariant to contrast, rotation and illumination conditions. This method can detect mirror symmetry, rotating symmetry and curve symmetry at one time. Results of experiment show that, compared with pivotal element algorithm based on intensity information, phase method is more accurate and robust.  相似文献

An optimization method for time-delayed feedback control of partially observable linear building structures subjected to seismic excitation is proposed. A time-delayed control problem of partially observable linear building structure under horizontal ground acceleration excitation is formulated and converted into that of completely observable linear structure by using separation principle. The time-delayed control forces are approximately expressed in terms of control forces without time delay. The control system is then governed by Itoe stochastic differential equations for the conditional means of system states and then transformed into those for the conditional means of modal energies by using the stochastic averaging method for quasi-Hamiltonian systems. The control law is assumed to be modal velocity feedback control with time delay and the unknown control gains are determined by the modal performance indices. A three-storey building structure is taken as example to illustrate the proposal method and the numerical results are confirmed by using Monte Carlo simulation.  相似文献

A novel 6-degree of freedom (DOF) posture alignment system, based on 3-DOF positioners, is presented for the assembly of aircraft wings. Each positioner is connected with the wing through a rotational and adsorptive half-ball shaped end-effector, and the positioners together with the wing are considered as a 3-PPPS (P denotes a prismatic joint and S denotes a spherical joint) redundantly actuated parallel mechanism. The kinematic model of this system is established and a trajectory planning method is introduced. A complete analysis of inverse dynamics is carried out with the Newton-Euler algorithm, which is used to find the desired actuating torque in the design and path planning phase. Simulation analysis of the displacement and actuating torque of each joint of the positioners based on inverse kinematics and dynamics is conducted, and the results show that the system is feasible for the posture alignment of aircraft wings.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a parallel computing technique for content-based image retrieval (CBIR) system. This technique is mainly used for single node with multi-core processor, which is different from those based on cluster or network computing architecture. Due to its specific applications (such as medical image processing) and the harsh terms of hardware resource requirement, the CBIR system has been prevented from being widely used. With the increasing volume of the image database, the widespread use of multi-core processors, and the requirement of the retrieval accuracy and speed, we need to achieve a retrieval strategy which is based on multi-core processor to make the retrieval faster and more convenient than before. Experimental results demonstrate that this parallel architecture can significantly improve the performance of retrieval system. In addition, we also propose an efficient parallel technique with the combinations of the cluster and the multi-core techniques, which is supposed to gear to the new trend of the cloud computing.  相似文献

Looking the progress of cyber based information system in railways, air ways, commercial institutions, industries, medical institutions etc. a pertinent questions is raised that why not in agriculture? It is however, realized that due to short supply of extension workers, their lower educational level and least per capita extension expenditure, the demand based extension services are not been provided to different kinds of clients. Due to diversification of agriculture, the needs are varying from farmer to farmer and area to area. Farmers need different calculated feasible, viable and economical practices to follow for better output and income. The socio-economic and agro-climatic situation of farmers in the same village is also different. Therefore, demand based extension services cannot be possible through our conventional system of extension with the available human and financial resources. So far, extension agents give the information what ever they know and not that what the farmers need. It is therefore suggested to develop cyber based extension system in our country, which provides all required information about all possible questions of the farmers. Keeping this point in view, an effort was made to develop an Expert System of Extension at Division of Agricultural Extension, Indian Agricultural Research Institute New Dlehi-12. The system was built in two phases. In the first phase the agricultural information of the selected crops have been collected from the authentic sources and stored in the form of a database. In the second phase, the decision rules were formulated and coded in the expert system. Both these phases are finally combined to form cyber-based expert system, which is hosted on the Internet for the use of the farmers and general public. This is a best combination of man and machine for efficiency and need to based on dissemination at a time to all farmers.  相似文献

We studied the response of harmonically and stochastically excited strongly nonlinear oscillators with delayed feedback bang-bang control using the stochastic averaging method. First, the time-delayed feedback bang-bang control force is expressed approximately in terms of the system state variables without time delay. Then the averaged It6 stochastic differential equations for the system are derived using the stochastic averaging method. Finally, the response of the system is obtained by solving the Fokker-Plank-Kolmogorov (FPK) equation associated with the averaged lt6 equations. A Duffing oscillator with time-delayed feedback bang-bang control under combined harmonic and white noise excitations is taken as an example to illus- trate the proposed method. The analytical results are confirmed by digital simulation. We found that the time delay in feedback bang-bang control will deteriorate the control effectiveness and cause bifurcation of stochastic jump of Duffing oscillator.  相似文献

The intensity distribution of depolarized field in the focal region of a high numerical-aperture optical system was investigated and found that the depolarization effect is tunable by the plate. The depolarization effect gains with the increase of the inner convergence angle of the phase plate, goes through a dramatic descent when the angle is larger than 30° and begins to come back when the angle reaches a threshold of respectively 60°and 65° for the orthogonal diffractive field and the longitudinal diffractive fields. This reveals two convergence points where the depolarization effect is the strongest and weakest, respectively, suggesting that the pure phase plate can be a promising method for altering depolarization diffractive fields and constructing optical instruments.  相似文献

Without sufficient real training data, the data driven classification algorithms based on boosting method cannot solely be utilized to applications such as the mini unmanned helicopter landmark image detection. In this paper, we propose an approach which uses a boosting algorithm with the prior knowledge for the mini unmanned helicopter landmark image detection. The stage forward stagewise additive model of boosting is analyzed, and the approach how to combine it with the prior knowledge model is presented. The approach is then applied to landmark image detection, where the multi-features are boosted to solve a series of problems, such as rotation, noises affected, etc. Results of real flight experiments demonstrate that for small training examples the boosted learning system using prior knowledge is dramatically better than the one driven by data only.  相似文献

Acquisition of physical data with high precision is a key step in reverse engineering ( RE). It is an important stimulative for the progress of reverse engineering with which various digitizing devices are invented, developed and made applicable. This paper introduces a three dimensional optical measurement method based on digital fringe projection technique in RE to improve the technique through its application.
