构建科学合理的评价方式,通过评价更好地了解学生的学习,并以评价改进教学,成为近来教育教学中非常值得关注的话题。表现性评价运用于小学数学教学中,能更好地了解学生的数学理解水平并有效改进教学。以"两位数减一位数退位减法"为例,制定了算理理解的水平框架并设计了表现性任务,对学生的算理理解水平和学习过程进行了测评。最后,合理应用表现性评价框架及测评,有针对性地进行了教学设计,有效促进了学生对算理的理解水平。  相似文献

社会情感能力是影响个人成功和幸福的关键因素。对学生的社会情感能力进行测评有助于分析其能力现状,针对问题进行辅导干预,并基于证据分析育人质量、改进育人实践。然而,社会情感能力的测评存在一定难度,虚拟表现性评价为社会情感能力测评提供了抓手。研究通过探讨虚拟表现性评价的内涵、理论基础及优势,讨论运用虚拟表现性评价测评学生社会情感能力何以可能;通过分析虚拟表现性评价的设计思路及实践案例,讨论运用虚拟表现性评价测评学生社会情感能力何以可行。虚拟表现性评价为学生带来个性化的、接近真实情境的交互式学习体验,其建立在“以证据为中心的设计”思路基础上,在基于评分规则测评学生社会情感能力表现的同时,也为参与测评的学生本人提供指导性反馈或干预,由此实现虚拟教育世界与后续现实世界协同育人的创新模式。  相似文献

跨学科学习有助于弥补分科教学的缺陷,促进学生跨学科理解形成和创新人才培养。学生评价是落实跨学科学习目标、设计高质量教学活动、促进跨学科教学改进的关键环节。跨学科学习评价一般以表现性评价为主,其他评价方式为辅。跨学科学习评价内容需要具备完整的评价要素,其学习水平划分应以认知模型为依据。基于SOLO分类理论构建跨学科学习评价认知模型,有助于教师设计合理的表现性评价任务,明确对学生任务表现的观察点,基于收集的证据对学生的认知层次和学习成果水平作出科学评价。  相似文献

The present study of gifted students’ views of assessment is aimed at understanding how the employment of Embedded Assessment for Learning (EAfL) framework in science courses for the gifted affects the students’ views throughout the learning process. The participants were 86 students in three programmes for the gifted who elected project‐based science courses. The data included questionnaires, distributed at the beginning and at the end of the assessment processes in each science course, and in‐depth interviews with 12 students, which were analysed according to three main themes: general view of assessment; assessment modes; and relationships between assessment and learning. The students viewed the EAfL framework as an integral part of the learning process, and perceived it as a means of expressing autonomous learning and a range of performances; characteristics that correspond with the students’ unique needs. In addition, students addressed cognitive and social processes they had undergone. This implies that assessment which is explicitly designed to promote learning in science courses is a powerful tool for teachers as well as for students, and contributes to meaningful learning.  相似文献

深度学习是智慧教育的核心支柱,但目前尚缺少智慧课堂专属的深度学习设计方案。如何针对深度学习的灵活性诉求,研制一种智慧课堂赋能的灵活深度学习设计框架,是推进深度学习实践落地的关键所在。基于深度学习架构理念、采用教育设计研究范式研制的面向智慧课堂的灵活深度学习设计框架,遵循逆向设计逻辑,包括课堂环境分析、明确目标、确定评估、学生分析、任务设计、编列制定、绘制分布和决策预设等8个步骤,既体现了智慧课堂精准把脉、互动支持、适性推送、即时反馈等四大特色功能,也为智慧课堂中的学习任务、学习活动、学习进程和教学决策等四个方面的灵活性设计提供了详细的方案支持,并且还能够可视化学生深度学习的个性化进程。该框架经过高质量评估标准锚定下的专家校验与迭代修订,已达到可交付实施的质量要求。这一框架在智慧课堂中的应用有助于促使学生深度参与学习,引导学生采用高级学习方略,促进高阶知能的发展,加深概念理解及其迁移应用。  相似文献

Assessment for learning approaches, such as peer review exercises may improve student performance in summative assessments and increase their satisfaction with assessment practices. We conducted a mixed methods study to evaluate the effectiveness of an oral peer review exercise among post-graduate students. We examined: (1) final assessment grades among students who did and did not take part in the peer review exercise; (2) student perceptions of the impact of the peer review exercise; and (3) student understanding of, and satisfaction with, this new assessment practice. We found that students who took part in the exercise had a significantly higher mean grade in a subsequent summative oral presentation assessment than students who did not take part in the exercise. Students gained a better understanding of assessment and marking criteria and expressed increased confidence and decreased anxiety about completing the subsequent summative assessment. Assessment for learning improves academic attainment and the learning experience in postgraduate students.  相似文献

This paper reports on a study that was conducted to examine formative assessment as a form of assessment that promotes critical pedagogy in teaching and learning. Using Freire’s notion of critical pedagogy as an analytic framework, the argument is that formative assessment should transcend grading, selection and accountability for learning and elevate each student’s learning threshold. Critical pedagogy is concerned with reconstructing the traditional student/teacher relationship and developing spaces and practices that nurture dialogue and possibilities. The study adopted a case-study research design. Discussions with educators and an examination of students’ workbooks provided insights about how the educators understood formative assessment and how it can be used to promote socially just education. The findings indicate that even though the teachers viewed themselves as competent in using this assessment, this was not evident in their practices as well as the views they expressed about it. They appreciated the importance of the assessment for promoting socially just education but still had some misconceptions regarding its implementation, for example, the teaching of Business Studies. The teachers’ professional understanding of formative assessment as a concept and a practice highlighted the need for teacher development. If teachers are encouraged to examine their practices, this will permit them to embrace formative assessment, and to stimulate students’ interest, and performance in Business Studies.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

We present a conceptual framework that leverages synergies between classroom assessment (CA) practices and self-regulated learning (SRL) theory to support academic growth and instruction. We articulate the processes shared by CA and SRL, drawing on a model of SRL with three phases: forethought, performance, and self-reflection. We blend this SRL model with CA to create the CA:SRL framework in four stages: (1) pre-assessment, (2) the cycle of learning, doing, and assessing, (3) formal assessment, and (4) summarizing assessment evidence. We elucidate how SRL processes are involved at each stage and can be drawn on to support learning development and teacher understanding and co-regulation of learning. This framework is important in that it depicts how assessment and learning processes interact dynamically for both teachers and students in classrooms, and demonstrates that such interactions encompass the full breadth of purposes in CA, from planning through summation of evidence.  相似文献

Studies have shown that, while learning different concepts, people sometimes take different approaches (learning styles). Accordingly, their performance reflected differently in their academic studies. With the effect of globalisation to the educational environments, the influence of individual learning styles on educational performance is getting more significant. In this study, a learning style assessment tool was used to examine the relationship between students’ learning styles and their performance in engineering education programmes. At the beginning of the programme, 285 students’ learning styles were measured using a learning style assessment tool. Four years after the engineering education, their performance in the programme was compared with their individual learning styles. This study shows that most of the students are assimilators. Divergers and convergers follow the assimilators. The number of accommodators is very limited. The relationship between engineering students’ learning styles and their performance is found: assimilators and convergers performed better than the divergers and accommodators. The performance difference between assimilators and divergers is statistically significant. The results of this study show that the learning style theory is a potential tool for guiding the design and improvement of courses and helping students to improve their individual performance.  相似文献

This paper examines the effect of a podcasting task on the examination performance of several hundred first‐year chemistry undergraduate students. Educational researchers have established that a deep approach to learning that promotes active understanding of meaning can lead to better student outcomes, higher grades and superior retention of knowledge over time. We attempted to promote such an approach by setting a task that involved student collaboration, contextualisation of content, and communication through new media, specifically creative podcasting. Examination results were used as a source of empirical evidence of changes in understanding and retention that occurred for students who completed this task. In comparing results across 2 years on similar questions related to the podcasting topics, we found a statistically significant improvement after introduction of the podcasting task on the questions related to one of the topics on which students had actively created their own podcasts (“acids & bases”), but not on the other (“oxidisation and reduction”). Improved learning outcomes in the form of better understanding and retention over time in at least one case suggest that under some circumstances creative podcasting may indeed help to promote a deep learning approach.  相似文献

Alternative approaches to learning and assessment have become common practice in higher education today. While these approaches have several learning, instructional and assessment advantages for students and teachers, a need exists for a better understanding of their consequential evidence. The purpose of this study was to examine students’ perceptions of, and satisfaction with, the experience of learning English for Law in the environment of a comprehensive learning and assessment system integrating the project component and academic writing portfolio component into the framework of traditional learning. A sample of 58 law majors from Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, Lithuania participated in the study. The main findings of the study indicate that the integrated approach to learning English for Law was very well accepted by the students due to the following benefits it presented: (i) this approach is effective and useful in promoting students’ productive and receptive language skills; (ii) it enhances students’ satisfaction with their results; (iii) it fosters one’s motivation to learn a foreign language; (iv) it promotes students’ development as independent learners. It is recommended that this study be extended to the investigation of the impact of such an approach on the students’ final results in ESP in comparable groups.  相似文献
