在期刊综合影响力指标(JIII)基础之上,提出一种新的评价期刊相对质量的新指标(JIII’),其定义是一种期刊5年内刊载论文平均被引量与总被引量之乘积除以相同时期内全部期刊刊载论文平均被引量的平均值和期刊总被引量的平均值之乘积所得之商的平方根。用SCI数据库2010年收录的6 644种期刊为样本,通过实证分析证实该指标的实用性,并分析产生这些结果之原因。  相似文献

A variety of bibliometric measures have been proposed to quantify the impact of researchers and their work. The h-index is a notable and widely used example which aims to improve over simple metrics such as raw counts of papers or citations. However, a limitation of this measure is that it considers authors in isolation and does not account for contributions through a collaborative team. To address this, we propose a natural variant that we dub the Social h-index. The idea is to redistribute the h-index score to reflect an individual's impact on the research community. In addition to describing this new measure, we provide examples, discuss its properties, and contrast with other measures.  相似文献

Today, it is not clear how the impact of research on other areas of society than science should be measured. While peer review and bibliometrics have become standard methods for measuring the impact of research in science, there is not yet an accepted framework within which to measure societal impact. Alternative metrics (called altmetrics to distinguish them from bibliometrics) are considered an interesting option for assessing the societal impact of research, as they offer new ways to measure (public) engagement with research output. Altmetrics is a term to describe web-based metrics for the impact of publications and other scholarly material by using data from social media platforms (e.g. Twitter or Mendeley). This overview of studies explores the potential of altmetrics for measuring societal impact. It deals with the definition and classification of altmetrics. Furthermore, their benefits and disadvantages for measuring impact are discussed.  相似文献

This study established a technological impact factor (TIF) derived from journal impact factor (JIF), which is proposed to evaluate journals from the aspect of practical innovation. This impact factor mainly examines the influence of journal articles on patents by calculating the number of patents cited to a journal divided by the number of articles published in that particular journal. The values of TIF for five-year (TIF5) and ten-year (TIF10) periods at the journal level and aggregated TIF values (TIFAGG_5 and TIFAGG_10) at the category level were provided and compared to the JIF. The results reveal that journals with higher TIF values showed varied performances in the JCR, while the top ten journals on JIF5 showed consistent good performance in TIFs. Journals in three selected categories – Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Research & Experimental Medicine, and Organic Chemistry – showed that TIF5 and TIF10 values are not strongly correlated with JIF5. Thus, TIFs can provide a new indicator for evaluating journals from the aspect of practical innovation.  相似文献

欧盟数据保护影响评估制度起源于隐私影响评估制度,数据保护影响评估制度的实施主体是数据控制者,规制对象是具有高风险的数据处理行为,具体流程包括审查、咨询、评估、报告和保障及复审五个阶段。欧盟数据保护影响评估制度对数据保护有风险防控作用,企业可因此更被消费者信赖。数据保护影响评估制度有指导性规范与行业自律结合、强制性义务两种模式。欧盟数据保护影响评估制度对于我国个人信息和重要数据安全风险评估制度配套法规的制定和落地,尤其是在安全风险评估的适用范围、评估性质、流程设计与机构设置等方面,具有重要的借鉴意义。图3。表1。参考文献19。  相似文献

按ESI的学科分类标准,从SCIE下载ESI农业科学所有期刊2008年至2011年所发表的全部论文的原始数据,再利用软件对原始数据中的同名作者和同名机构进行识别与归并,消除数据不准确带来的误差。然后,根据ESI进入前1%的作者与机构具有高影响力的划分原则,对农业学科的高影响力作者和机构进行统计,重点分析农业领域高影响力作者的学术卓越性、学术生产力和学术影响力,并对高影响力机构进行分层评价。最后,利用共词分析法对所有论文的主题分布进行统计分析。  相似文献

[目的/意义] 分析JCR最新公布的"影响因子百分位"指标的特点以及其对期刊评价的影响。[方法/过程] 从影响因子百分位的内涵分析入手,比较其与影响因子的统计学特征,在因子分析的基础上,采用多元回归和分位数回归研究影响因子百分位与其他文献计量指标之间的关系,同时采用Spearman相关系数分析其与其他文献计量指标的关系。[结果/结论] 研究结果表明,影响因子百分位改变了影响因子的统计学特征;影响因子较低的一些期刊,转换成影响因子百分位后相对值更低,其他期刊转换成影响因子百分位后相对值更高;影响因子百分位与其他文献计量指标相关程度中等;当影响因子百分位较低时,影响因子相关指标的弹性系数较高,当影响因子百分位处于中等时,总量指标及特征因子指标的回归系数较低;影响因子百分位并不适宜作为其中一个指标用于期刊多属性评价。  相似文献

[目的/意义]从全文本内容分析的角度对算法的学术影响力进行分析。[方法/过程]以自然语言处理领域十大数据挖掘算法使用为例,分析不同算法在特定领域的影响力。通过对1965年-2006年间发表的自然语言处理领域10 922篇学术论文的调研,从其全文内容中抽取6 001条包含十大数据挖掘算法的句子(简称算法句);针对算法句从提及论文数、总提及次数、提及位置等3个方面,对不同算法的影响力进行比较分析。[结果/结论]以不同特征作为影响力衡量标准,十大数据挖掘算法在自然语言处理领域学术论文中的影响力有明显区别,在基于论文数、提及数和提及位置的评估标准中,SVM算法表现出较高的影响力,Apriori算法的影响力则明显低于其他算法。本研究为量化评估算法的影响力提供了新思路。  相似文献

在科研合作日益显著的趋势下,基于作者合作的学术影响力测度研究明显分为两方面:一是用合作这一因素对传统的引用影响力指标进行调整;二是直接测度作者在合作网络中的影响力,并探索与引用影响力指标的相关性。结果表明,作者在合作网络中的中心度指标与其被引次数、h指数、g指数均呈正相关。在科研合作的背景下,要综合评价作者的学术影响力,应将两者结合起来。最后从科学交流模式和作者学术关系的视角,讨论双重测度作者学术影响力的理论依据。  相似文献

期刊影响因子能够评价和比较一种期刊相对于同学科中其他期刊的影响力和重要性。在影响因子一般概念的基础上,实证分析图书情报领域16种CSSCI收录的学术期刊的同时影响因子、历时影响因子、累积影响因子和即年影响因子。结果表明,累积影响因子能够更加全面地反映学术期刊的影响力和重要性。  相似文献

为全面评价植物与动物学的基本研究和发展状况,从SCI下载ESI植物与动物学科所有期刊2008年至2011年所发表的全部论文的题录,统计分析其中高影响力作者、高影响力机构以及研究主题的发展变化。为消除作者和机构名不准确带来的误差,首先利用软件对题录数据中的同名作者和同名机构进行识别与归并。重点分析植物与动物学高影响力作者的学术卓越性、学术生产力和学术影响力,并对高影响力机构进行分层评价。主题分析采用共词分析和可视化分析等方法,对论文的关键词进行聚类,并以可视化手段展示植物与动物学的核心研究内容、热点及不同研究内容之间的关联。  相似文献

Sara E. Grozanick is a student in the School of Information and Library Science (SILS) at the Pratt Institute, New York. Recognizing the significance of the Open Access movement to the advancement of scholarship, here she writes a bibliographic essay on research into the citation impact of open access journal articles.

The School of Information and Library Science (SILS) at the Pratt Institute located in Manhattan and offering LIS education since 1890, features a curriculum based on Cultural Informatics and World Information, Society & Environments (WISE). The program reflects the arts orientation of Pratt and its alliance with cultural institutions in the city such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York Public Library, and the Brooklyn Museum. The nearly 400 students who attend Pratt-SILS onsite have the opportunity to select a master's program resulting in a MS in Library and Information Science or a MSLIS with Library Media Specialist Certification, archives certificate, or dual degree programs resulting in a MSLIS/MS History of Art, a MSLIS/MFA Digital Arts, or a MSLIS/JD with Brooklyn Law School.

Increasing political and financial support for scientific research in the Middle East requires academic and research communities in the region to demonstrate the visibility and impact of their scientific output. However, for countries with smaller scientific communities or lack of detailed information on their scientific production, the use of common metrics of scientific impact (e.g., number of papers, impact factor, h-index, etc.) may fail to reveal their true ability to produce high quality research, and thus guarantee the wanted societal support. In such cases, identifying and highlighting outstanding papers produced by national institutions or scientists may be another way to demonstrate scientific capacity and impact. In this context, this work aims to provide an overview of champion works (papers that have received over 1,000 citations) produced by Middle East countries. This analysis focuses on science, medicine, and technology papers featured in the Science Citation Index Expanded of Web of Science. The authors identified 213 champion works authored by Middle East scientists published since the 1970s. Israel is currently the leading nation in the Middle East in terms of published champion works, but at least one such work was identified for the majority of countries in the region. Middle East champion works were published on a diverse range of subject categories and often featured in the top journals worldwide (e.g., Science, Nature, etc.). The top institutions in the Middle East authoring champion works and their leading collaborating countries worldwide are listed, and the role of international scientific collaborations in achieving these highly cited papers is highlighted.  相似文献

The aim of this study is to introduce two groups of impact indicators, Weighted Altmetric Impact (WAI) and Inverse Altmetric Impact (IAI). WAI is based in weights from the contributions of each metric to different components or impact dimensions (Principal Component Analysis). IAI is calculated according to the inverse prevalence of each metric in different impact dimensions (TF/IDF). These indicators were tested against 29,500 articles, using metrics from Altmetric.com, PlumX and CED. Altmetric Attention Score (AAScore) was also obtained to compare the resulting scores. Several statistical analyses were applied to value the advantages and limitations of these indicators. Frequency distributions showed that each group of metrics (Scientific Impact, Media Impact and Usage Impact) follows power law trends although with particular patterns. Correlation matrices have depicted associations between metrics and indicators. Multidimensional scaling (MDS) has plotted these interactions to visualize distances between indicators and metrics in each dimension. The 2018 Altmetric Top 100 was used to distinguish differences between rankings from AAScore and the proposed indicators. The paper concludes that the theoretical assumptions of dimensions and prevalence are suitable criteria to design transparent and reproducible impact indicators.  相似文献

利用Google的PageRank原理进行期刊引文分析,提出期刊在引文网络中的影响力测度指标--引文网络影响力序位(Journal Impact Rank in Citation Net,Impact Rank或IR).通过对118种生物学领域的期刊进行期刊引文网络影响力测度,并将IR结果与JCR提供的影响因子(Impact Factor, IF)值进行统计学分析以考察二者的相关性和差异性.结果表明,IR值与IF值的相关性较弱,其差异性具有统计学意义.分析其原因,IR考虑了引证期刊的权重和期刊间的相互影响,更适于反映期刊在其相关学科或领域的引文网络中的相对影响力;IF值因其实质上是期刊论文篇均被引频次,其计算不考虑期刊之间的相互联系和引证期刊的权威性,因而更适用于期刊自身的纵向评价;IR与IF从两种不同角度评价期刊影响力,可互为补充.  相似文献
