以知识管理领域为样本,利用Pajek集成的主路径算法提取从ISI WoS检索的样本引文数据的主路径发现:三种主路径算法功能相同。对比样本领域的主路径元素间的完整引用关系网络与结构洞发现:二者在结构上完全相同,差异仅在于弧线线值,意味着主路径具有网络结构洞功能。基于全局中心结构洞与自我中心结构的进一步研究发现:主路径元素的结构洞功能与功能大小差异显著。  相似文献

[目的/意义]近年来,围绕着专利引文网络结构特征的研究出现大量的研究成果,这些成果都从某种程度上折射出专利引文关系的形成受到来自属性特征之外关系特征的影响,而现有的以回归方法为基础的统计推断方法难以将这些因素纳入到分析框架中,因此,急需探索新的方法。[方法/过程]从关系形成视角,专利引用关系形成可表示三种广义的关系形成过程:自组织影响过程、自身属性影响过程、网络协变量影响过程,并建立关系形成过程与网络配置间的映射关系,最终,形成一整套可用于理解复杂专利引用关系形成问题的解释框架。[结果/结论]提出一整套可用于理解复杂专利引用关系形成问题的解释框架,该框架是未来进一步构建网络统计模型的理论基础,另外,解释框架包含丰富的网络配置项,预示着未来指数随机图模型在文献计量、科学网络分析上广阔的应用前景。  相似文献

Main path analysis (MPA) is the most widely accepted approach to tracing knowledge transfer in a research field. In this study, we extracted multiple longest paths from the multidisciplinary academic field's citation network and integrating topic modeling to the extracted paths. We consider three main aspects of trajectory analysis when analyzing the represented documents through the extracted paths: emergence, authority, and topic dynamics. For path extraction, we adopt the longest path algorithm that consists of the following three steps: 1) topological sort, 2) edge relaxation, and 3) multiple path extraction. For topic integration into multiple paths, we employ latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) by utilizing the topic-document matrix that LDA derives to select an article's topic from the citation network, where each article is labeled with the topic that is assigned with the highest topical probability for that article. We conduct a series of experiments to examine the results on a dataset from the field of healthcare informatics that PubMed provides.  相似文献

国外的网络引文研究可分为四个方面,侧莺点各不相同:Print-Print引文研究着重于网络环境下传统引文数据库的分析;Print-Web引文研究大多集中在网络引文的可获得性方面;Web-Print引文研究注重实证与传统引文的比较;Web-Web引文研究则是将来引文发展的总趋向.网络引文数据的动态件和不可靠性、网络文献缺乏有效控制与规范,以及数据的精确性问题,都给引文分析带来一定困难.目前相关的研究还处于开创性和探索性阶段,未来的网络引文研究将重点从理论体系的构建、研究方法的完善与实践应用的深化三个层面展开.  相似文献

As the volume of scientific articles has grown rapidly over the last decades, evaluating their impact becomes critical for tracing valuable and significant research output. Many studies have proposed various ranking methods to estimate the prestige of academic papers using bibliometric methods. However, the weight of the links in bibliometric networks has been rarely considered for article ranking in existing literature. Such incomplete investigation in bibliometric methods could lead to biased ranking results. Therefore, a novel scientific article ranking algorithm, W-Rank, is introduced in this study proposing a weighting scheme. The scheme assigns weight to the links of citation network and authorship network by measuring citation relevance and author contribution. Combining the weighted bibliometric networks and a propagation algorithm, W-Rank is able to obtain article ranking results that are more reasonable than existing PageRank-based methods. Experiments are conducted on both arXiv hep-th and Microsoft Academic Graph datasets to verify the W-Rank and compare it with three renowned article ranking algorithms. Experimental results prove that the proposed weighting scheme assists the W-Rank in obtaining ranking results of higher accuracy and, in certain perspectives, outperforming the other algorithms.  相似文献

通过对科学知识扩散相关文献的梳理,构建科学知识扩散的研究框架,并对研究对象、扩散关系表示、衡量指标、扩散模型等方面进行详细评述。扩散的对象包括期刊、学科、科研人员等,扩散过程主要以文献引证和作者合著关系表示。在实证中,基于文献引证关系的引文及引文网络分析是科学知识扩散的主流研究方法。衡量指标可以按照测度粒度分为文章、期刊、学科3个层次。现有科学知识扩散的模型研究以定性研究为主,定量化分析较少,常见思路为跨学科借鉴成熟模型。  相似文献

A standard procedure in citation analysis is that all papers published in one year are assessed at the same later point in time, implicitly treating all publications as if they were published at the exact same date. This leads to systematic bias in favor of early-months publications and against late-months publications. This contribution analyses the size of this distortion on a large body of publications from all disciplines over citation windows of up to 15 years. It is found that early-month publications enjoy a substantial citation advantage, which arises from citations received in the first three years after publication. While the advantage is stronger for author self-citations as opposed to citations from others, it cannot be eliminated by excluding self-citations. The bias decreases only slowly over longer citation windows due to the continuing influence of the earlier years’ citations. Because of the substantial extent and long persistence of the distortions, it would be useful to remove or control for this bias in research and evaluation studies which use citation data. It is demonstrated that this can be achieved by using the newly introduced concept of month-based citation windows.  相似文献

[目的/意义] 专利引用关系形成问题是理解创新网络的一个重要问题。传统的回归模型对观察对象设定的独立性假设,无法将网络的结构效应因素整合到模型中来提供综合性的统计推断。指数随机图模型(ERGM,Exponential Random Graph Model)是一种创新性的统计推断方法,它能够将属性特征、自组织特征以及网络协同特征三种特征综合起来观察。[方法/过程] 以奈拉滨药物的专利引文网络作为研究对象,利用ERGM系统检验了影响专利引用关系的五种机制:专利属性的主效应;专利引用时间的差值效应;专利引用关系的聚敛效应;专利引用关系的传递效应;专利引用关系的网络协同效应。[结果/结论] 五种机制都在奈拉滨药物的专利引用关系的形成过程发挥了作用。但三种效应对于奈拉滨药物的专利引用关系的形成作用最为显著:共享发明人关系协同效应、共享家族关系协同效应、传递效应。一些辅助机制也会对专利引文关系形成产生影响,如引文时滞、权利要求数量和参考文献数量。  相似文献

在科研合作日益显著的趋势下,基于作者合作的学术影响力测度研究明显分为两方面:一是用合作这一因素对传统的引用影响力指标进行调整;二是直接测度作者在合作网络中的影响力,并探索与引用影响力指标的相关性。结果表明,作者在合作网络中的中心度指标与其被引次数、h指数、g指数均呈正相关。在科研合作的背景下,要综合评价作者的学术影响力,应将两者结合起来。最后从科学交流模式和作者学术关系的视角,讨论双重测度作者学术影响力的理论依据。  相似文献

Studies of social networks highlight the importance of network structure or structural properties of a given network and its impact on performance outcome. One of the important properties of this network structure is referred to as social capital, which is the network of contacts and the associated values attached to these networks of contacts. This study provides empirical evidence of the influence of social capital and performance within the context of academic collaboration (coauthorship) and suggests that the collaborative process involves social capital embedded within relationships and network structures among direct coauthors. Association between scholars' social capital and their citation-based performance measures is examined. To overcome the limitations of traditional social network metrics for measuring the influence of scholars' social capital within coauthorship networks, the traditional social network metrics is extended by proposing two new measures, of which one is non-weighted (the power–diversity index) and the other (power–tie–diversity index) is weighted by the number of collaboration instances. The Spearman's correlation rank test is used to examine the association between scholars' social capital measures and their citation-based performance. Results suggest that research performance of authors is positively correlated with their social capital measures. The power–diversity index and power–tie–diversity index serve as indicators of power and influence of an individual's ability to control communication and information.  相似文献

[目的/意义]基于科学论文发表后的早期特征,准确预测论文未来的引文扩散演变模式,对科学产出评估、科学突破早期发现等都具有潜在的价值。[方法/过程]归纳总结9种不同的引文扩散演变模式,并基于论文自发表后的早期时序、结构和文献特征,建模预测未来一定引文窗口内的演变模式。选择美国物理学会的引文数据集进行实证研究,探究不同特征组合下引文扩散演变模式的预测效果。[结果/结论]结果显示,时序特征对预测模型的贡献程度最大,同时结构特征和文献特征也起到重要的作用,当融合3个特征时所有预测模型的准确率均超过了80%,证明了本文所选特征的有效性。  相似文献

[目的/意义]针对现有评价方法对期刊影响因素考虑不全面的问题,提出一种将期刊被引频次、被引时间异质性与被引分布均衡性相结合的期刊综合评价方法。[方法/过程]首先,基于期刊被引时间的异质性计算加权篇均被引频次;其次,利用改进后的泰尔指数衡量期刊被引分布的均衡性;最后,利用熵权法与灰色关联分析法将被引时间异质性与被引频次均衡性相结合,构建期刊综合评价指数——关联度指数(Relevance Index,简称RI)。[结果/结论]通过对国外图书情报领域的40种期刊进行实证分析,结果发现:相比于JIF和h指数,RI指数能够考虑期刊被引时间的异质性,时效性更强,权重分配更合理;RI指数能兼顾期刊被引分布的均衡性,能够识别平均影响力较强的期刊,评价结果更加客观、全面。  相似文献

The structure of different types of time series in citation analysis is revealed, using an adapted form of the Frandsen–Rousseau notation. Special cases where this approach can be used include time series of impact factors and time series of h-indices, or h-type indices. Identifying the future influential papers among the newly published ones is an important yet challenging issue in bibliometrics. As newly published papers have no or limited citation history, linear extrapolation of their citation counts—which is motivated by the well-known preferential attachment mechanism—is not applicable. We translate the recently introduced notion of discoverers to the citation network setting, and show that there are authors who frequently cite recent papers that become highly-cited in the future; these authors are referred to as discoverers. We develop a method for early identification of highly-cited papers based on the early citations from discoverers. The results show that the identified discoverers have a consistent citing pattern over time, and the early citations from them can be used as a valuable indicator to predict the future citation counts of a paper. The discoverers themselves are potential future outstanding researchers as they receive more citations than average.  相似文献

This paper presents an empirical analysis of two different methodologies for calculating national citation indicators: whole counts and fractionalised counts. The aim of our study is to investigate the effect on relative citation indicators when citations to documents are fractionalised among the authoring countries. We have performed two analyses: a time series analysis of one country and a cross-sectional analysis of 23 countries. The results show that all countries’ relative citation indicators are lower when fractionalised counting is used. Further, the difference between whole and fractionalised counts is generally greatest for the countries with the highest proportion of internationally co-authored articles. In our view there are strong arguments in favour of using fractionalised counts to calculate relative citation indexes at the national level, rather than using whole counts, which is the most common practice today.  相似文献
